Yeah. I could handle Gatewood or Fields in this class and hopefully Nix in the next.

2 games: 335 yards passing, 3 TDs. 203 yards rushing, 4 TDs.
Now let this sink in. Since he splits every other series with Riley Smith those #s essentially are equal to 1 game...538 yards total offense & 7 total TDs. Against good teams too, a state champ in Georgia & a team in Florida that had not lost a home game in 7 years.

Joey is being pursued by every top offensive college coach, and his HS coach is making him split time with a kid that will probably max at a UAB type program. Brilliant. I guess he is more concerned about keeping people happy then actually winning a title.

If Stidham stays 2 seasons then I am cool with missing on Fields. Would give Gatewood a year of development and hopefully setup a QB battle of Willis/Gatewood/Nix which I think would end up fine with AU
However, if Stidham ends up 1 & done then I want Fields because I think he can step in day 1 and be ready. Joey is gonna need at least a year in my mind
No matter what though I don't want Fields at UGA. Gives them the missing piece at QB and helps reel in a ton more instate talent. Still holding out hope we can get all 3 guys because I am greedy like that

I don't see him at LSU. Is it possible, yes. That offense is less QB friendly than ours.

Gonna be salty about McClain to LSU. Especially if we can't flip Walker or get back in it with Tindall.

I guess but I'd rather stay on him rather than take someone not as good. It might not be totally his fault.

There is still an entire season to go, and new kids will emerge.
Several of bamas recent LB came about in that way.

Agreed. I understand why coaches are moving on but dude can play. Will be a good one for LSU
I got faith in T-Will to get it done tho. I think Walker is very much in play

I guess on the positive we got another CB for Wonnum today and 2 for Oladeye. Need one of him or Fox in this class.
