I doubt he actually paid for the fight. I don't know the specifics just what's filtered out that he and family were in town with Smart

Curious if AU had anyone in town this weekend. Nothing's been reported so far

For some odd reason, I get the vibe JF and his Dad think he is a pro style QB. Not sure how that is going to work. A DT QB going to the worst OC in the league, trying to run a pro set. What could go wrong.

If he didn't have the legs he does he'd still be a 5* QB as a pro style QB. He is one of the 2 or 3 best passers in the class right now.

Yea he'd really be selling himself short trying to hard to prove he's some kind of pocket passer but if you watch him play he knows what he is regardless of what his dad says they want him to be.

FWIW a Dawg fan brought this over to AUC on Kyler McMichael. The Rusty in the quote is a UGA recruiting reporter for UGA 247.

Yalls BFF, Rusty, also stated he doesn't think Kyler signs with Clemson. He thinks AU has the momentum right now.

His dad said in a recent interview he wants Justin to back off on the running some since he won't be able to much in the NFL.

What we really need is Cam to have a monster year running the ball

I saw that and I also saw his first game this season. He didn't back off running.

I think Fields' ceiling is higher at Auburn..... I also think his floor is lower at Auburn, but that's coming from a pre-Chip QB development

Getting to the league is #1 to them IMO. That's why I said a few days ago I believe we're sitting in 3rd place.

I know. The dad was saying he wants that to happen at the college level for JF, not high school.

Not sure why UGA would be ahead of us then. Chaney hasn't produced a decent pro in over 20 years when he was Joe Tiller's puppet and Fields isn't even his type of QB.
