dictator? That's funny. Stubborn absolutely. JJ, SW, JF3, and listing Kam 3rd string to start the season shows his eye for talent. And the last two commitments certainly weren't Gus. It'll be fun to see it play out this year.

not a melt, I can't find examples at this point of how he's involved, other than being the figure head.

Does anyone know what a head coach does? I'm just curious.

Broncos just hired a head coach to NOT coach any side of the ball.

I would say that primary role is to be CEO and make all executive decisions for the program, nearly all specialize in offense or defense but that's not necessary I don't think if you have really good coordinators. This is just a very uneducated guess but it definetly seems plausible to me. And if Gus is a good behind the scenes manager, which I think he is, he's always got the team playing hard and isn't afraid to cut some cancer off the team, then it's probably the most beneficial for him to step back and be the CEO like he said he was going to and let the coordinators do their jobs, but we've learned that that's easier said than done with him.

#1 on my wish list but I think we are a longshot. Next year's DB class is loaded. Need to land a few studs from it. We capitalized on solid DL 2 years ago and with Taylor will have done the same with LB this year. Need to do it with DBs next cycle

If Gus is going to be the CEO, then he needs to stop being so cowardly on game days. He has to be the most conservative coach in America.

LSU 247 reporting Taylor visit to Ole Miss not happening. KN says he thinks Taylor prefers AU but it's family decision which tells me mom thinks he can play earlier at LSU. But again that sounded like some speculation on KN's part as well. Could still hear something today on Taylor

Edit: Shea for LSU 247 seems to be leaning LSU. Granted he said no chance Narcisse would decommit and was part of the infamous 5/5 stuff so wouldn't take that as a certainty

KN just put in a CB for LSU on Tyler Taylor... Sounds like depth chart is gonna win out right now. Crazy that all of a sudden AU has a tougher looking LB depth chart than LSU....

With LSU / UGA / and now Bama hard after Bryant I wouldn't be surprised if his AU visit gets cancelled this weekend.

Once of those schools will put a stop to it

Good news Bryant has made it to AU
