In Plains Sight: Auburn recruiting snapshot (SECCountry)
Both UF & UGA seem to feel confident they are going to flip Bishop. As for Ashley not sure how that one ends. Maryland is rolling out the red carpet right now and his family has relocated to DC so would make it easier for them to see games. I still think we hang on to him but will be a battle to finish

Who de-committed from Auburn this week?
It’s a crazy time of year when these things happen with regularity. In Auburn’s case, no such de-commitments have happened yet. However, speaking of the top 5 commitments above, Ashley and Bishop are being chased big time by other Power 5 programs. Keep an eye on that wavering duo.

It’s not going to be easy. I wrote Thursday about the difficulty of fighting off Georgia and Florida in the race for Bishop.
Maryland will present a similar challenge for Ashley. The 5-star offensive line commit fired off three tweets Thursday that should raise some caution flags for Auburn down the stretch.

Its a long stressful process..

Had a great in home visit with Umd Tonight! #TerpNation ??????

Official to UMD next weekend gone be litt ????
In one swoop, Ashley dropped a few bombshells. For starters, he doesn’t seem excessively confident in his Auburn commitment. That’s been the narrative for a while, but the full-force recruiting season has reaffirmed that uncertainty.
Maryland will be the toughest team to stave off. The Terrapins have the proximity advantage now that Ashley’s parents have moved to Washington D.C. Ashley switched from an Orlando area high school to the D.C.-area St. John’s College for his senior season.
Ashley attended a few Maryland games earlier in the 2016 season, even meeting Maryland grad and Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank.
The Tigers aren’t backing down from the challenge, though. Auburn offensive line coach Herb Hand remains hard after Ashley, in an attempt to hold onto the strong trio Auburn already has at offensive line with Ashley, Austin Troxell and Nick Brahms.
Hand also stopped by Ashley’s home this week.

I'd hate losing another high profiled recruit to fricking Maryland.

Ladamian Webb
Class of 18 has two offers from Bowling Green and Troy
Looking at his video highlights here are my quick takes:
1. He is small but not too small. Supposedly 5'9 190 or so.
2. He has a really quick side shift to avoid taking big hits which is awesome.
3. runs really upright and seems like he would go down quick when someone does get a helmet on him
4. Couldn't determine if he was fast, if the other team was slower or a mixture of both. He seemed quick on the field.
The coaches have done an amazing job finding running backs so that is a spot Im not worried about them missing on.

Narcisse is coming to Auburn this weekend despite LSU's site being skeptical that he would come.He is on his way right now.
Right now he seems solid to LSU but that could change after he sees who LSU hires for OC.
Auburn wants 2 QBs and with Bishop not wanting to play QB/looking at other schools, we're looking for another one.

Want him and Stidham. Bad

Update on Stidham:
Lashlee doing an in-home with him today. Gus and Lashlee will visit him next week too.
Stidham could hear A&M's plans today but he was hoping to hear those plans yesterday but it never happened. Still seems like A&M is passing on him.
McElwain and the UF OC will do an in home on Sunday. He could visit UF next week.

Tweet from Derek Tyson on Stidham:

In my opinion, Auburn leads by a good margin, but Florida has a real need. Think he'll at least listen.

I'm hearing Narcisse is en route to Auburn for an official visit.

Where could you have possibly heard that from?

Doesn't want to play QB anymore which is what we initially sold him on. Probably a safety now. Flirting with UGA/UF

Super secret inside guys obviously

Is this the same guy that isn't playing QB for his HS?

He visited UGA & UF more during the season than AU. Originally the draw to us was we were giving him a shot at QB. Well he has decided he wants to commit full time to safety which is honestly what he should do but the 2 schools that have been recruiting him at safety the whole time are UGA/UF. Both UGA & UF insiders think he is going to flip to them this month. KN says AU sources always believed he would be a battle to keep and but in the end would stick with AU. We will see...

That's 2018 commit Joey Gatewood
Narcisse was once an AU commit before flipping to LSU. He has had 2 ACL injuries but when healthy is one of the best dual threat QBs in this class. With Bishop moving to safety and probably flipping somewhere we are looking for a 2nd QB. Perfect world would be Narcisse & Stidham. Would allow Narcisse plenty of time to heal

Anyone else find it hilarious that A&M seems unable to recruit more than one QB at a time this cycle while AU is openly courting 2 at the same time. If we somehow pull Stidham and Narcisse that would be a nice 2 team melt

LSU posters are saying Ensminger as OC could happen. Yes, that Ensminger.

AU just offered 4* JUCO Michael Clemons. He seemed really excited about it says we can become a factor. My bet is we don't feel confident in landing Buggs but I could be reading too much into it
