Plan C already and we aren't even to May yet? Yikes.

On Jonah the staff wants taller LTs w/ longer arms than him. I have no problems w/ the staff sticking to their LT standards that did not have him as a take at LT.
Yeah, OK. We just took Bailey Sharp as an OT and if he is any taller than Williams it is by a miniscule amount. If anything, Williams' arms look longer than Sharp's (which is more important than pure height for an OT).
It just seems like a comical excuse. Even if they felt that Williams wasn't long enough to be an OT, he's still an elite OL that could easily project inside as well. We'll sign at least one OG in this class anyway, so why not push for Williams regardless and just flip him over inside once he gets on campus? Its not like we've got an elite list of OG's waiting to commit either.

So no post about Robert Kraeling committing to Duke? Good thing we were "slow playing" Williams and Price.
If only metabitch were our coach, we'd finally have someone who knew what he was doing.

1 of our top 2016 OTs is a juco committed to BYU but has a great friendship w/ Chandler Cox from when CC lived in Utah.
Well we've already seen how it plays out trying to use Cox to recruit his friends as our future tackles.

We just took Bailey Sharp as an OT
quote:Well I'm glad you know that cuz based on reports the staff doesn't even know that yet. Last I read was 1 interior that could be an OG or OC.
We'll sign at least one OG

And what, we aren't planning on taking any RT's this year? We're looking at ~3 OT's and probably at least 5 total OL in this class. I'm to believe that because Williams may not be a perfect LT profile that we therefore decided to slow play him? Because he can't profile anywhere else on the line where we could just as easily utilize his talents? Oook.

Ain't even gonna bother wasting my time reading a hard headed wall anymore that THINKS he knows more than our staff

8 of the top 20 composite OT's have already committed, with many of the remainder either heavily leaning to schools not named Auburn, or coming from regions that we have little to no shot at pulling them from. I'm glad to see that we still don't even have our "Plan A" decided yet. Makes sense.

Brosef, it's April 13th. Take a step back for a little bit.

I don't think I know more than anything.
You just told me that Williams may not be an ideal LT, which I didn't even argue. Guess what though Ellitor? Not every OL we sign this year is going to project as a LT. So why not push for Williams (an elite OL regardless) and figure it out later? We had room to take Mike Horton last minute last year, yet you're trying to tell me that because Williams may not be the picture-perfect LT prototype that we therefore didn't really want him? Don't make me laugh. Like I said; we're going to end up signing at least ~5 OL this year. We will not sign 5 OL who are better than Williams. Therefore trying to tell me that we passed on him because he doesn't fit the perfect mold of a LT is an outright comical excuse to me.
I'm picking on you because you are like the Michael Phelps of towing the company line. You're the GOAT. Any excuse that is posted, you pick it up like gospel and plaster it everywhere. If Keith posted that we passed on a recruit because the staff didn't like his hairstyle, I think you'd literally start reporting it as fact any time someone brought the kid's name up. You need to learn to stop being so robotic and question things yourself.

Yep the, all is lost. Going to hell in a handbasket (what a stupid phrase). Fire the coaches!!!! All us sumbeaches here are smarter!

quote:I do report stuff from Keith as nearly fact because the man has earned that. He is arguably the best recruiting reporter in the business & the only reporter on an AU site who is completely unbiased when it comes to AU. It's possible sources may lie to him I guess but I have no way to know that & therefore can't question him. I do question other AU reporters more because they are AU biased.

As for posting on here, my job is not to question things. My job is simply to pass out the info from the pay sites as I gathered it w/out trying to ovelry sully it w/ my interpretation. It's for y'all to question as you often dobut don't try to get me to question things on here because that's not my job & I won't do it on recruiting stuff other than the obvious JLee.

If there was something else going on w/ OL recruiting & Keith was told about it he would post it. Either things are as Keith has posted them or sources on AU OL recruiting aren't giving him the full or real story.
