Calm down. There's 10 more months to go.

We've gotten 8 CB's for Eli Stove since 3/27. One from national analyst JC Shurbutt and one from an "FSU Insider", which is the only other team with any CB's for him. Niebuhr CB'd him to us a while ago, but that's the only one from either teams 247 site.
We've had a solid lead for months. Florida is the main competitor now but we still lead.

You get way too wound up in this stuff. I advise you to slow it up on recruiting or stop caring like Rocky & others for your own health's sake.

At this time both JR & AJ plan to commit on or near NSD. Maybe December on JR given Kage's post. So just take a deep breathe, relax, & accept it.

Auburn doesn't. Your anxiety does, though.

10 years ago this would be a relevant statement. It's not the way recruiting works anymore. Try and keep up.

If it were December I'd agree with you. Ever wonder why hardly anyone on here agrees with you when it comes to these situations?

Hell. I thought you were mocking me saying that in the past when you posted it.

I follow recruiting w/ a passion. There is no question about that. However it rarely gets me worried or my anxiety up. For example, albeit overly done so, I defended Garner & had the POV to wait things out til NSD this past year before judging the DL class while others were melting. Now I am not by any means saying I was right. Just that I let things play out fully before getting amped up or making an assessment. Yes I was concerned at times but I never let that turn into anxiety. Unless you're have a disasterous class like Florida did 99% of last year then it's not eorth worrying or getting amped up about til the end.

May is the new December. Momentum in recruiting is important.

Because not many people possess my ability to not be a homer.

I never said they sky is falling and we still have the ability to sign one of the best classes in AU history but we need to get things rolling if we are going to make that happen.

We aren't the type of school like FSU, USC etc... who are going to pull in like 4 5*s on Signing Day and there isn't going to be a Muschamp type situation to come in and save things late this year.

Rochester, Jackson, Stove, Craig, Williams, Davidson, Wilson, Pass, Broussard...

Those guys are there for the taking and we need to pull a high percentage of them if we want to be elite in the West.

You're way overthinking this. Kids are way to fickle to say what happens now is that crucial to what happens in January.

There's nothing to over think. It's a pattern that happens every year.

For schools like Auburn, who don't have an automatic top 10-15 base to build on every year, good starts and class momentum are huge. We are in on more truly elite level prospects than I can ever remember but only a couple of them are probably AU leans. Those are the guys that can get the ball rolling before the others start getting picked off one by one.

So crying for more commits is you not being a homer?
