and Leonard Williams.... That one hurt the most IMO... add williams to the 2013 defense, and who knows what could've happened.

2012 is what happens when you replace both coordinators... we're going through some of that this year with so much staff turnover. Hopefully we can overcome it this time around.

FWIW, Marshall's scholly was pulled privately, following his visit to uGA. He will definitely pick up the uGA hat. I for one couldn't be happier.

I hope you are right. I will give him the benefit of the doubt that he is a confused HS kid that is easily influenced, hopefully the kid finds better mentors down the road wherever he ends up.

Who else did we miss that day besides Leonard Williams?
Stefon Diggs
Eddie Goldman
Ronald Darby
TJ Yeldon
Channing Ward
Arik Armstead
Deon Bush
Menelik Watson
Jordan Moore
Travis Blanks (to an extent)

Just some we missed during that class, not just on National Signing Day.

Jovon Robinson, JaQuay Williams and Darrion Hutcherson could also be added.

Guys also on our radar that at one point we thought we had a chance of being top group for

- 5* RB Trey Williams
- 5* QB Famous Jameis
- 4* RB Rushel Shell
- 4* DE Francis Kallon
- 5* JUCO WR Cord Patterson
- 4* OL Graham Schuler (AU Legacy)

I think the exact words I was told were that "David was informed that he no longer had an AU offer."

Just in case anyone wants to split hairs.

Waiting on Warrior before Thomas gets an offer. Different people are hearing different things here. Yeah, T-Rob/Boom were the initial reason for interest, but like Ben Davis, he loves the atmosphere at AU.

Saw Kevin Steele awkwardly pacing at BBall game not in a seat. Davis must have been hanging out with TWill and Steele just waiting to leave, didn't seem much for a bball fan

Steele is a lot smaller than I expected. Extremely slender 5'10. Most old white coaches got some width to them when they hit 50+

Also, AU/UTk expect to hear from Warrior today. He knows another kid (Thomas) is hanging in the balance, and doesn't want to prolong their angst.

Speaking of Steele, somebody could teach him how to smile as well. He looks like his dog died in all of the recruit pictures.

I remember reading somewhere that Derrick Brown's family is planning on telling the 3 schools today whether Brown will be attending their school or not. They said they wanted the losing schools to have enough time to offer a scholly to another kid. Which is very respectable of them.

Nice

Hopefully this is the trend. I can understand building excitement and everything but the coaches should be able to keep that a secret. Nice to see families understanding that there are other kids lives who are significantly impacted and want to help them out

IMO, David Marshall was going to flip regardless, but I'm glad we pulled his offer.

The Tennessee melt if we land Warrior on top of Brown would be a thing of beauty

Every time I accept that we aren't gonna land him something like this gets posted....

That would be a hell of a pull by McGriff if it happens

Not sure whether to bite or not. The term "fluid situation" seems to be lacking this year that allows writers/mods to make these predictions then change them later.
