They throw that out there constantly for lots of guys. Most of the time nothing comes of it.

Update 1/29: Warrior is a Tennessee legacy and he is visiting Knoxville (Tenn.) this weekend, but Auburn appears to have some real momentum less than a week out. The Tigers had an in-home visit Thursday and Auburn could be closer to closing this one out than most think.

-AU likely to sign 4 or 5
-Unlikely AU offers 3* DB Daniel Thomas b/c staff feels AU is in good shape w/ both JayVaughn Myers & Nigel Warrior
-AU has very good shot w/ Warrior
-Some close to the program feel we lead but Still wouldn't be surprised if he chose Vols
-grade issues may keep Davis Jr from signing w/ AU
-AU could sign him as an academic redshirt
-W/ an ARS SDl would count to both 25/85
-he could only practice but not play in games much like Purifoy
-In the end they don't see Gus signing SDj b/c of every signing counting to the 25 IC limit.
-Sammons is a priority for AU but don't think AU would take 2 OTs
-believes AU would have to be convinced EJ will sign w/ another school before AU would take Sammons
-AU has not slowed at all w/ David Marshall
-appears CKS & UGA is just beating AU straight
-Source close to DM feels he signs w/ UGA
The 5 AU is most confident in getting are:
NCM
Warrior
Jayvaughn
EJP
