So which of Brown, Price, Nixon, Sammons, or Warrior do you expect to sign with Auburn?

All of them.

And if they don't, I'll cry and bitch and demand coaches and administrators to be fired!

I actually heard a rumor 2-3 weeks ago that DC might be looking to leave.

I was told a month ago that there would be offensive staff overturn. Just written off as not true by this point.

If DC leaves and Lashlee stays the meltdown will be nuclear. Chernobyl.

It would be an unprecedented meltdown. I'll probably join in on the melt as well if that happens.

Of those names, I would rather only sign Brown (and Warrior but he's not coming). Nixon would be great but NCM is what we need. Leave the rest of the spots for next year and maybe grab more guys if this staff is still here.

Stephen Davis Jr as 1 of our 2 LBs and 4*DE Sammons as OT is troubling. I know Sammons is a big kid but I'm tired of all these position conversions instead of signing kids at their true position out of hs.

Hasn't Horton been submitting resumes and trying to move on and up?

I think it's Horton.

Our QBs haven't been better

I'd rather DC move to QB coach and hire another WR coach

DC coached 3 straight QBs to early rd draft picks. And yeah, I get the Jimbo argument, but that doesn't mean it didn't rub off. Isn't why so much importance is put on a coach's coaching tree?

On top of that, look at DC's production recruiting compared to Lashlee's.

There is no such thing. Did it never even occur to you that maybe they are in the wrong position in HS?

He plays OT in high school also.

No it never did. I simply think there is a lot of coaching that has to be done for someone to play OT if they didn't play that position in high school, especially Tackle. I just feel a school like Auburn should not be reaching so hard on conversion prospects. Also, look at our WRs that played QB in high school. They've been serviceable at best.

E: did not know that, makes a difference.
