quote:Yes 8 w/out NewKirk & Manning.
Did i read somewhere in here that we have 7-8 spots left in this class?
quote:Hard to say. W/ coaching changes still going the target board changes w/ it. Nate Craig & Jayvaughn Meyers appear to be 2 we have a good shot w/ at the moment.
Who do we close with?
quote:Not really. The average of the top 40 teams right now is 18 commits. We are @ 17.
that seems like a lot of spots to be this close.

Why would we not take Mbem-Bosse or whatever and Stephen Davis Jr with obvious available spots?

So we only feel good about two of the eight spots? And didn't I hear that Elijah will leave if NCM commits?

I think he was just stating that it's not ludicrous to fill 8 spots at this point. And I don't see how NCM could leave when he's not committed.

I fixed it. And I understood what he was saying. I was just asking.

quote:I could be wrong but I think you asked that multiple times on SDj because it has been said multiple times we did not take SDj because Boom did not see him as physical enough to be a safety for him. On Bosse Boom had other guys higher at that time like Zach McCloud who ended up @ Miami.

What are your feelings about how we look for NCM?

Right, well Boom isn't here anymore.

Again, Boom isn't here anymore and Zach McCloud isn't coming.
At least these guys seem like decent backup plans compared to anything else we are likely to get.

quote:I did not say nor imply that. Those wer just 2 that popped in my head. Staff also likes our chances w/ Ahmmon Richards
So we only feel good about two of the eight spots?
quote:Not on here or from anyone credible. The only likely way we lose Stove is if CDC leaves which appears very unlikely.
didn't I hear that Elijah will leave if NCM commits?

Sorry, I mean the chances we get him.
I read your first post first, then saw the updated list again.
Was curious what the opinion is on our shot of getting him on signing day.

Good God, I'm glad we are going to have a team full of wide receivers.

After this past year I'm glad. That Arkansas game was painful due to all the drops.

Don't get me wrong, I have been praying for better skill position players, but at the same time, I can look at our class and be able to infer that Gus is an offensive minded coach that places more emphasis on recruiting the offensive side.

quote:How so? We have 8 O commits & 9 D commits & are likely to have at least 13 of the 25 signees in this class be on D, could be 14 or 15.
