I predict that Devan Duvernay is going to go to Baylor. Baylor fans aren't going to report on that because they all would know I have no sources or insight into the situation

A Rutgers writer has no inside knowledge of AU sports and is not connected with this guy. Why is what he says newsworthy?

These guys try to build their crystal ball cred by throwing in early CBs. They are a joke

He didn't decide that. Common damn sense should tell anyone that.

I realize we are running low on such, but that is something my 3 yo niece could have pieced together.

Chavis is a 4* with Scout and has some legit offers.

Evaluation
Experienced DT who brings a well-rounded set of skills to the position, and as a result he has been offered by a wide array of college programs. Could play in and odd or even front. Has a good get off and when playing spirited he is hard to contain. Has good closing speed and open field running skills, which show through on tape as he chases down ball carriers. He is strong and is able to get off blocks. Will need to play consistently lower.

Strengths

Disengaging Skills
Explosion
Quickness off Ball

Areas to Improve

Techniques and Moves

It was a joke, hence the Borat reference. Enhance your calm.

Also, common sense is not a real thing.

Garner should sign this kid. He has all the skills Garner can't teach

Not really.

What most refer to as "common sense" is just using one's crystallized intelligence pulled from you general knowledge. However, if you and I do not have the same background, then what is "common" to you is not to me. So lets use a car not cranking as an example. If you have never worked on cars then common sense would tell you to call someone to fix it. However if you have worked on cars then common sense would say to check all the components that make a car crank or the engine fire. So in closing, Fire Rodney Garner.

Reminds me of the Chewbacca defense of firing Rodney Garner

quote:

Ladies and gentlemen, this is Chewbacca. Chewbacca is a Wookiee from the planet Kashyyyk. But Chewbacca lives on the planet Endor. Now think about it; that does not make sense!

Why would a Wookiee, an 8-foot-tall Wookiee, want to live on Endor, with a bunch of 2-foot-tall Ewoks? That does not make sense! But more important, you have to ask yourself: What does this have to do with firing Rodney Garner? Nothing. Ladies and gentlemen, it has nothing to do with Rodney Garner! It does not make sense! Look at me.

I'm talkin' about Chewbacca! Does that make sense? Ladies and gentlemen, I am not making any sense! None of this makes sense! And so you have to remember, when you're building your e-cred, thinking about the Emancipation proclomation, does it make sense? No! Ladies and gentlemen of the Auburn Board, it does not make sense! If Chewbacca lives on Endor, you must fire Rodney Garner

Per Keith A few of our coaches feel good about landing Kyle Davis the others don't.

Davis is announcing his decision by putting on a hat and then running out of their tunnel Friday night before kickoff of their game.

Damien Craig is going to stop by his school earlier that day. Just not allowed to be at the game per NCAA rules. Auburn has already been to a game where the other team was playing so they can't "visit" them twice.

UGA reportedly will have multiple ppl at the game

I don't mean to add to the melt, but I haven't really followed recruiting this year and I just noticed Auburn only has 11 commits...and it's almost November.

It isn't looking good, but we still have time to recover.

Damien? Just gives everyone another reason to disregard the majority of his opinions. I do appreciate the news though. Keep on doing what you do 24

Are the same people that complain about us not spreading the ball around to playmakers, some of the same ones that want us to go to strictly DT qbs? I'm not sure the two can coexist.

We have a RS Fr thats starting to show he can get the ball to our perimeter athletes.

To have strong recruiting classes and put guys in the NFL on offense for the foreseeable future, we have to get away from some of the things that have worked in the past few yrs.

If not, we will continue on this roller coaster ride waiting for a qb that can carry a team by himself.

A large part of this teams ( & last yrs) issues are coming from the transition to a balanced offense
