This spring we had 12 juco players: Duke, Jovon, Smith, Flowers, Phillips, Lambert, Danzey, Dampeer, Tucker, Moncrief, Swain, and Lawrence. Of those 12 3 are not with the team and only 3 are on the field helping us, Phillips our freaking punter has helped us the most smh. That is a shite ton of roster spots that could of been used on high school talent. We have missed big time on juco guys. It seems like we get some good offense guys because we offer them early but on defense we swing for the fences on high schoolers and when they play us and dump us right before signing day we jump to the juco guys but all the decent players are gone so we just grab what we can

Per 247 Auburn by its own choice is no longer recruiting Elysse Mbem-Bosse. At one time not long ago he was thought to be a lock to join this class

Either our coaches are the most sly mofos around and gonna shock everybody in February or they are actively trying to sabotage the program.

Our recruiting is so effed up that hotboards are no where to be found this week by rivals/bunker

Muschamp, when initially hired, said something to the effect that D recruiting was non existent. With recruiting relationships starting in the 10th and 11th grades of high school, it could be a year or two before Champ is getting any quality recruits.

There's nothing you or anyone on this board can do about it. Why the frick do you think it's necessary to keep beating a dead horse? We know recruiting sucks right now. Let the million dollar coaches handle it. If you know so much, get your fricking arse out there and recruit and be a bagman like you claim to be pussy.

I'm glad the recruiting thread is here for you and 24 to bleed all over. It's constant, that's what bothers me. Even when there is good/decent news, you guys have a way of shitting on it.
And no, I wish we were killing it in recruiting but I don't believe anyone has a clue how national signing day will shake out.

I don't ever want to be the guy who starts and "I told you so" thread or hope that bad things happen so I will be "right" but when I call this crap show from a mile away and get a bunch of clowns on here calling me out it definitely makes it hard not to say something.

And fwiw Mbosse is a great kid and very intelligent. That makes this decision by the staff even more bizzare. Someone asked Keith about it and he said "just know the staff has chosen to go in a different direction."
