Before anyone asks I high doubt we pursue Issac Nautau who decommitted today From FSU. Staff loves Landon Rice and doesn't want to scare him off.

haha...Landon Rice is pursuing him just as hard, or harder, than our coaching staff. Rice is really good friends with Nauta and has said he really wants them both at Auburn.
That all being said, Nauta is a super longshot at this point.

Wut? NM was a DB that couldn't throw a 10 yd out. Gus rode him to the championship game. Cam had major passing issues when he first arrived. He admitted that was his major flaw. When using statistics, you can't discard the best numbers (Cam being a NC, Hiesman winning QB, and first round pick) while stating the low ones (Moseley, who was a last minute addition due to missing out on other targets.)
No one disregards them. But starting in JUCO helps more than you think. Seeing live action is better than sitting on the bench.
Gus did a good job with Cam. Those cannonfodder games we played where Cam only passed was a brilliant move on his part. Same with Nick. But he did not build them from the ground up.
I will still contend that Nick Marshall could play QB for the Eagles. If that mental midget Tebow can do it, then anyone can.

QBs....
Tulsa developed two great QBs, including one who was a 5th year senior who had never started (Think of the praise that Kiffin got for Blake). David Johnson - 4,059 yards and 46 touchdowns.
2009 Chris Todd (Terrible year before Gus), 2612 yards and 22 TDs vs. 903 years and 5 TDs (NallBall), QB rating of 145.7 instead of 106.6.
2010 Cam: Enough Said... turned him into an NFL QB.
2011 Barrett Trotter:(Not good, started 7 games) played lights out in the bowl game.
2011 clint Moseley QB rating with Gus 133.1, without Gus 111.1 in 2012.
2013 and 2014, the job he did with Nick was amazing...

Antwan Jackson got another cb to tOSU today

Should we be getting nervous or is it just OSU guys giddy after a visit high?
Posted on 7/28/15 at 9:10 pm to RandySavage
I will always be nervous going head to head with tOSU with Meyer there.

God we suck at DL recruiting. Whiff on everybody

It's from an OSU SB Nation writer.
Not sure what inside info he could possibly have. Probably just following the other OSU picks.

Have yall looked at who's been making these recent CB picks? You should. It will ease your mind.

ellitor always says to only look at the prognosticators of the schools involved.

You should just consider the source and determine for yourself whether you should be worried or not.
For me, 3 or 4 picks all from OSU writers right after a visit to OSU means nothing. But do what you want

Auburn's football program is ruined because of 247's Crystal Ball feature. We are so fricked now.

Only one of those picks comes from a 247 OSU writer.
The others are just their version of AL.com staff making picks.

He's visited them twice in two months and has plans to visit them twice more 1 being an official. Jackson's dad loved the last vist and Jackson like's their Dline coach. It's going to be a battle, and won't help that tOSU will more than likely steam roll their schedule. Hopefully we do the same!

and anyone who follows recruiting knows that if you want to make the smart bets, "follow the visits" and you probably have your pick. He's visited Auburn over 12 times I believe. It is going to take more than 1 good OSU visit to unseat Auburn here. We have a battle on our hands, but one that we'll probably win.
