dangit, can't even keep a hold of our 3 stars. Might need to start going after 2 stars.

That is absurd. You are usually more objective than that. Sims went from a position to position journeyman to a top SEC qb last year. That is quite impressive. It's not like Pass will be starting anytime soon anyway. They signed their qb for the future last year.
Top SEC QB? Hardly. He was the product of a ton of talent around him. He's playing in the CFL right now. He executed one play well, throw it to Amari.

He threw for more touchdowns than any QB in the SEC and he had the second highest quarterback rating. Quite impressive for a running back.Given that Sims is playing in the CFL right now, Kiffen deserves a raise for getting that kind of production out of him.

I can't fault him for throwing it to the top WR in the nation. He would be kind of dumb if he didn't...

Again, he is playing with nothing but high 4 and 5* guys at every position around him. They're not exactly going to struggle when you outman everyone you line up against. He was accurate, cool. I'll give you that. But being the best QB in the SEC last year was akin to being the tallest midget. The true QB play was atrocious. Name one team with a really great QB last year. Dak is probably the closest, and he lacks a lot of true passing ability.

Some crazy shite going on with our recruiting here.
QW dad from when he committed
Then that 2017 OL that just committed to Alabama had this to say when we offered.
Although Marshall said he grew up an Alabama fan so I've expected this since they offered.

"He grew up a huge Auburn fan," Williams, Sr., said. "We had one of those huge divided houses. I was an Alabama fan and his mom was an Auburn fan. His grandmother was an Auburn fan and he grew up an Auburn fan."

“That’s great,” Johnson said. “That’s my dream school. They produce what I like. I just like the environment they’ve got. I just love the team.”

It's not like Auburn has a bunch of three stars out there. It's up to the QB to get the job done whether the QB is on a loaded team or not. Sims got the job done for most of the year, so I don't think you can claim that they can't develop players.

If you are agreeing that he was was the best qb out the SEC last year, I can live with that statement. QB play was mostly piss poor.

I can't take this shite much longer. I hope we just do an onside kick after every touchdown we score

Does the extra attention for these two 3* LBs Davis and Jackson's teammate mean we don't feel good about any of the elite LB prospects we were after? I know they are all kind of long shots anyway. Hopefully we can at least pull Lamar.

second guy our staff loved that ended up massively underrated by recruiting services. I think our coaches have the experience necessary to evaluate juuuuuuust fine.
