No. Its the same shite every year. When was the last team we opened up as the clear favorites for the top targets we'd eventually land? That is usually reserved for the big instate schools and national "name" programs...which we really aren't.

Agreed but I don't recall us seemingly being in the top 2 for that many elite prospects either.

Dee Liner and TJ Yeldon both were 5* who committed to us right off the bat

Also we landed Carl early and were leaders with Monty early in 2013. We actually led, fell back a good ways, and made a furious finish for him.

So the Creekside trio seem to all like Auburn, TWill just got hired and the two OL are not super highly rated.

Think we pull/take all 3?

You wouldn't know it from their offer sheets.

We've got a better chance at all 3 than anybody else atm. + Venzell said their relationship with Williams "will be beneficial to the Tigers."

None of them are highly rated right now. They are all composite 3 stars. Of the 3 I think Jayson Stanley is the only one who is a take right now.

Does it hurt anybody else every time a recruit talks about us and calls us a National Title contender instead of National Champs? I die a little inside every time it happens.

move ED to DT if he grew into it.

This just doesn't sound right. It makes Daniel sound soft.

Or that he wasn't done growing. His 290 or so is very cut. That was the concern. He could get that big, and t all be very good weight.

***NOTE on Jordan Colbert***
Allie AUR spoke with his dad. JC will NOT be committing this w/e. Wants to get to know staff and players better, and get more info on STAR position. Hung out with Nick last night.

***UPDATE*** We lead. Besides Nick, hung out with GRob. Really likes everything we have but is waiting to decide to work on schoolwork. So he says. Targeting end of Summer.

John Burt said he's pretty wide open. No time table for decision. None of his quotes really stood out to me.

Said the same thing to Hoke yesterday which is why I did not post anything other than him not visiting Bama today.

Auburn is the leader for Jordan Colbert

Right now it looks like we're the favorite for:
4*RB Eric Swinney
4*WR Jayson Stanley
4*LB Richard McBryde
4*DT Jauntavius Johnson
4*S Jordan Colbery
4*OG Nick Wilson
3*OG Tyler Carr
3*CB Darius Slayton
3*OG Marquel Harrell
3*TE Bowman Archibald

Jalen Thompson (St. Paul's) will probably get an offer at CB at some point. I think Florida is currently the favorite though
