Boulaware's K/P recruiting strategy straight up was calling the #1, if not interested, call #2 and so on

That is probably the correct strategy. Kicking/Punting/Snapping is like its own world of recruiting; the talent evaluation is done at the camps by people who know more than the "Special Teams coach" at whatever school. Its not like the ST coach is actually "coaching" the Kickers/Punters.

I agree that is nothing super wrong about that but not all elite K/P go to camps nor get evaluated.

Just saying that he didn't even really bother watching tape to see if it confirmed ratings

Well that's good if he stays committed. I think he's a solid LB. He is just good friends with the hoover kids I'm sure that scares me. I realize they have 24 right now but apparently they are planning on signing like 3 or more guys. Some guys already committed to them are apparently getting processed. How can they honestly have such a hard on in recruiting after losing a huge game yesterday? Delusional. Recruiting doesn't matter in their system.

You seriously believe that he didn't spend a couple minutes to watch a highlight tape? C'mon man...

I don't know. This one I heard from an actual kicker and LS. They just said he didn't watch any film or anything on any kicker and went off recruiting sites only

ST players said he was awesome guy while being recruited and then a massive douche to players once on the team.

All together everyone...The result of a bowl win or loss no matter how good or bad it is rarely has a realizable effect on changing the outcome of whether recruits pick said school or not.

I had a couple of dealings with him (Boulware). He came off as very unprofessional and not someone I would want to do business with in the future.

Byron Cowart said he will "try to squeeze" an Auburn visit in after visiting Florida and Florida State. I don't like the sound of that.

Trying to squeeze a second visit to Auburn in after only visiting the other two only once doesn't sound good to you?

His last visit to Auburn was for the 2013 Iron Bowl, and the interview made Auburn seem pretty insignificant to him when compared to Florida and Florida State.

ETA: He has unofficially visited Florida 6 times in 2014, and Florida State 4 times.

He's visiting the 16th and trying to squeeze another in

What happened pre-Muschamp doesn't tell us much about where his mind is now

He may be, but that's not what he said in the interview. He said something along the lines of "I'm visiting Florida on ______, then Florida State on ______, and I'll try to squeeze in Auburn after that."

I haven't followed recruiting enough to know of any prescheduled visits, so I don't know.

Not sure, I'm not the best to ask. I've been out of the loop with recruiting this year.
