IMO, Auburn needs to load up on some linebackers, and fast. Auburn was already short on linebackers due to the 4-2-5 scheme, and we have a ton of guys that will leave next year (Cass McKinzy, Kris Frost, Anthony Swain, Justin Garrett and Kenny Flowers).

That doesn't bode well with Will Muschamp running a 43 defense, which principles of the 34.

Agreed. Wonder if we will be mining the JC ranks for some next year?

I am just wondering how guys like Cam Tony, Deshaun Davis and Khari Harding will do. If Tre Williams is solid and we can get at least one of them to perform, we should be reasonable at LB even with little depth

Has JUCO ever produced an elite LB?... I can't really think of one. Freeman was solid for us but no where near the hype he received.

Good point, I had forgotten about those guys. Swain is gone next year too or is he just a Jr?

I was thinking the same thing and really can't think of any to list. I am sure there has to be some that did right?

Not too many freshman can come in and start immediately so that is why I posed that question.

Swain - SR
Harding- JR
C Toney- rSO
D. Davis - rFR
Tre Williams- SO
Javy Mitchell- JR (he will be weird since he could get medical RS)

Next year we will be fine, it is 2016 that will be a huge question mark. I am going to assume Tre Williams will be solid. I think Muschamp and what he does with LBs will be a godsend for Cam Toney. Either him or Davis should be at least serviceable. If we can get one more we should be fine

Davis is an intriguing one. He was getting praise during bowl practice.

@JoshHelmholdt: I felt #Auburn OL commit Kaleb Kim struggled Monday, but 180degree difference today. He got the better of 5star Trent Thompson several times

I thought Cam Toney moved to HBack?

Either way, I think Swain, Williams, and Davis step up
