I'm sure you can die now. Hopefully a painful, terrible death

With what malzahn can do with athletes at QB, Gibson would get at least a year there... probably more, depending on how he looks and how other guys develop.

Locksley is the better QB product, but with queen on board, give me Gibson... dude could be an unreal QB, or develop into a kickass WR.
That's exactly how I'm looking at it.

Not if Kai Locksley commits to us first. He announces in a few weeks. FSU lean though
Or Deondre Francois. If Locksley commits to FSU before DF does then we are the only option left in his top 6. UF, FSU, & Tennessee will be done at QB in that scenario. Oregon is taking Blake Barnett. Gibson is the only QB left tOSU would take. Gibson will likely have to commit a lot earlier than he planned to beat Kai or Francois to be apart of the AU class.

Also Francois is visiting AU this month.

FWIW BR recruiting Analyst says best fit for Ivey is in Auburn's O. Includes a decent video film breakdown. LINK

Also per AUR, word from Rivals 5* Camp is AU is in good position and in much better shape for Ivey than most think. BMatt said he likes AU for Ivey FWTW.

For whatever reason I have a good feeling about him. Just think a lot of it depends on Florida's season and whether Muschamp is still the coach come NSD

Don't assume Muschamp leaving would be good for AU there. They could bring in a big time guy that energizes the program easily and convinces Ivey to pick Florida. Likely best case scenario is Champ does just enough to keep his job.

Very true. We see it every year where a big name guy comes in after the season and pulls a few high profile recruits

The nightmare scenario is Chip Kelly leaving Philly for Gainesville in a few years. I think I'd rather them fire Boom before Kelly becomes an option.

Almost as scary would be Chad Morris getting that gig, pending he's a good motivator and is as organized as his mentor.

Now that is a very high possibility.

morris as a HC will be interesting... would've thought he would've jumped this offseason, with Boyd leaving. i really thought TTU was a good fit when kingsbury got the job... and he may eventually end up in Texas somewhere... we'll see.

his teams aren't as physical as a Meyer or Malzahn... granted, that may change if he gets out of clemson and away from Dabo. Regardless... UF probably isn't going the coordinator route on their next hire, assuming Muschamp fails.

they'll aim for a proven HC... not another coordinator.

Wasn't sure where to post this and I didn't think it deserved its own thread but Nick Ruffin is listed as a WR on the roster on 24/7. Is that a thing or just a mistake?

Surely just a mistake, but I don't know for sure

He has been doing both.

Would be a mistake in our offense. We need secondary players much more than we need wr's IMHO
