Trent's recruitment won't be over anytime soon. Momma is the key.
I'll take Warmack. I imagine Williams better make up his mind soon, or like Carr it will be made for him.

Dallas is a center. Uat is loaded at center, and he is liking AU's and UGA's depth chart a lot better.

UGA's issues aren't over either from what I was told. More double dipping was going on than just Matthews & Co.
The odds of some type of coaching change AGAIN in Athens are high. A couple scenarios are possible:
1)If they have a good year on D, Pruitt will have major HC offers.
2)They have a bad year, Richt is gone.
If #2 happens, it opens another can of worms as to who they choose to replace him. Bobo has been there forever, and no doubt covets the HC job. Pruitt is the new kid in town. But few assistant coaches can claim a comparable resume. Hire Bobo and Pruitt is gone, hire Pruitt and no way Bobo sticks around.
Why would any kid with choices choose that?

When the HC gets fired, the Coordinators never get hired as Head Coach. So go ahead and eliminate both.

Auburn commit Jason Smith says Gus Malzahn likes him at quarterback first

"He said I was the guy since Day 1," Smith said after his most recent visit to Auburn on Saturday for Big Cat Weekend. "We'll definitely see when I get here, but nothing's going to be given to me from here on out, and that's what I want. I want to work."

"Me and my receivers definitely got better with the connections," said the four-star prospect. "It showed in the spring game. I got a lot more knowledge of the game now. Studying film helps a lot, and that's what I'm doing now at Gulf Coast with my head coach at Gulf Coast."

Yeah and pretty much every UGA fan I know hates Bobo lately

So you are saying that if Richt goes that UGA won't offer Pruitt? No chance they don't. There will be calls for it to happen all year long. It happens plenty.

Not sure how many UGA fans you know then. They love him and he is one of their best recruiters. (Prior to Pruitt) Especially in the state of GA. "Joe UGA fan" may not care for Bobo, but among those with any pull he is very popular.

Point taken...
Sorry guys, I just get fired up about UGA problems.
It does have a lot to do with our recruitment of TT, Stanley and Slayton though.

So is Kirby Smart not an option for Georgia? Is he the unofficial coach-in-waiting in Tuscaloosa?

I know Gus doesn't want to get stuck with a Barrett Trotter/Clint Moseley situation again but you have to wonder how he's going to give all of these guys practice reps at QB.
Johnson
White
Queen
Smith
2015 DT QB (Gibson, Locksley, Waller)

quote:He isn't going to give them all longer term reps. They will basically have try outs then weed out the bad ones. If they are athletes that can play other positions then it doesn't hurt anything to give them a shot. One of those guys might blow up and be better than the other QBs. If they don't they can be moved and catch on to other spots quicker. Now if Gus was signing a bunch of slow pro-style QBs then I would be worried.

Give me some examples.
They may love Pruitt now but he's a new coach so of course they love him.

Smith will last about a week at QB
Posted on 6/6/14 at 11:47 am to Weagle25
He is also a "new" coach with multiple National Championship rings that were won in the last 5 years. Who was just hired by a HC on the hot seat, with 0 rings. If Richt leaves for any reason, the masses will riot if Pruitt is allowed to go elsewhere to be a HC. I pray it doesn't happen that way, FYI. If they hire Pruitt or Smart as HC they become a serious thorn in our side, IYAM.
Enough UGA shite! Sorry. Again.
