That wasn't my intent at all. I loved what Eric Smith brought to the table in the h-back role. i meant that if Cox can be a blocker and be satisfied with that and work his arse off to become an amazing blocker to open lanes. A guy that can get out and put a helmet on a linebacker and move him out of the way is exactly what we need.

SIAP, per Ryan Bartow at 24/7, Ohio State could have potentially eliminated themselves from the race for Torrance Gibson with the commitment of 4* QB Joe Burrow.

Was OSU a heavy player for him anyway? I thought Tennessee was the team to beat?

They were considered AU's nearest threat other than UT, but yes the indication is still UT #1 and AU #2 for now....he is planning to visit BCW next weekend

2. His dad is pushing Kai to do what's best for Kai and not just settle on Maryland.
3. Info out now suggests Kai is looking out of state.
I like Kai better than TG as a QB prospect also.

Would much rather have Kai than Gibson. Like his QB skillset much better.

Per FSU 247 Kai may be looking to move up his commit date to late June. There may be a race between Kai and Deondre to get the FSU QB spot.

Per tOSU 247, with Burrow committed to the Bucks the only way they take a 2nd QB is Gibson. One tOSU 247 reporter said he would be shocked if TG ended up at tOSU now FWIW.

Keith CBed Javon Patterson to AU tonight and gave notes why he made that pick
-Source in Mississippi says JP is talking up AU the most
-Expeected at BCW which would be trip #4 to AU
-likes Grimes a lot
-His HS coaches have a good relationship with the AU staff
-AU-Ole Miss battle with both having good shot
-Miss St 3rd
-JP may visit AU a 5th time this Summer
-AU staff likes JP at OG but liked him at OT at 1 time
-KN will ask around and see how AU taking JP would affect other prospects

If he's arrogant enough to think a school like Auburn will wait that long on him, he's not too bright. If he doesn't commit within a month or so, he'll be forced to go to Tennessee whether he wants it or not. Unless he opens things back up.

Patterson is one guy that I absolutely feel could be a DT or OL.
