quote:Yes. 1 TE and 1 HB. It was going to be just 1 total before Ricky did not make the grades and left AU.
are we determined to sign a TE this cycle?

I have a pretty good feeling we pick up chandler cox for that hback role pretty soon. Possibly even next weekend. Not really sure what to think about our TE recruiting at the moment.

TE in this offense is always going to be a tough sell... We never use a traditional inline TE.

Okay 25, we agree on HH to Bama. But I am telling you that Trent is not the UGA lock that the fans believe he is

HH already committed. And yes Trent is a lock to UGA. He's just trying to keep things interesting.

Are we actively recruiting Will Gragg?

Well if it's okay with you guys, I will take the information from someone who speaks to the staff often.

Do whatever you want, but just know Thompson is going to UGA, barring a monumental collapse (which richt has never really had. He underachieves, but consistently wins games).

Ivey quotes per AUC LINK
quote:
Auburn “is a big factor in my recruiting process.”
“I'm pretty sure I won’t be up there [this weekend for BCW], but I know for a fact I’ll probably be going back this summer,” Ivey said.
“They’ll definitely get an official,” Ivey added.
Cox “definitely likes Auburn and he’s not afraid to tell you.”
"I talk to Coach Fountain, Coach Grimes, Coach Lashlee, then occasionally on the phone with Coach Malzahn,”
“They had an offensive lineman go in the first round, second or third pick,” Ivey said. “It’s a big part. [Grimes] told me about how he coached Greg. He told me the story and everything, how he came from Louisiana, and he made him a football player.”
“When I was up there, (AU) it felt like home,” Ivey said. “It's definitely a place I can see myself at for four years.”
“I’ll commit after all my officials probably,”

No worries, but do you guys not think the fact he still hasn't committed isn't a problem for UGA? I doubt they collapse, but this won't be over anytime soon.

Kids drag out their recruitment all the time for attention. Lowspark pretty much hit the nail on the head.

I'm not saying you didn't hear something from somebody close to the staff. But recruits play games, they change their minds, and they're fickle. Someone in the athletics department thinking we've got a shot at a guy doesn't really mean anything, especially this far off from NSD. It's a long way until the pen meets the paper so none of this means any thing either way, but in cases like this it's much better to judge what they're doing publicly than what may or may not be going on behind the scenes.
Trust me, I've learned that lesson.

Wow, I didn't know you guys cared! You all are concerned about my feelings getting hurt. I'm blushing...

Yeah I don't think he was lying at the time. Did he keep his word in the end? No, but you can't sit there and tell me that on 11/30/2013, RaShaan Evans wasn't 100% Auburn by the way he stormed the field.

However, TheSandman and I have both been burned in recent years. Him with Tray Matthews and a couple others, me with RaShaan Evans. All of my information on Duke Williams, Earnest Robinson, and Racean Thomas held up in the end, but it was not so with RaShaan Evans. And all of my information with those 4 players came from the same person.
