He COULD have played C for us down the line. He is a very good athlete. The REC did a # on his Dad though. I think Casher was/is a ticket to his little Bro' for NS/Bama.

If casher isn't happy, that may not work!

Move Kozan over? I think Shane Calohaun was working there before.

Whoever we sign to play center in the 2015 class.

Scary, but kinda expected this. I know we have people behind Dampeer right now, but I doubt we have anyone that's suitable for SEC play. We've been really lucky with Reese's health. I hope we start building a little depth at C.

Dampeer will most likely redshirt so we have him for 2015 and 2016. Kozan can play there if we need someone for a short period of time so we can keep the redshirt on Dampeer. We have lots of time to find a true center but it would be nice to get one this class.

This is best case scenario. Asking a lot of Dismukes he won't ever be able to come out of a game this year

Actually the expectations in the program as of now, as with everything that may change, is Dampeer is Reese's #1 back up this year and likely will not redshirt and at the very least play mop up when we have big leads.

Kozan would kick arse and take names at center, guaranteed.

Most OCs don't take breaks in the middle of competitive games and we have other guys who can sub in at OC in mop up duty. Shane Callahan had experience there early in his career

I believe (I am not anyone in the know)that they would love to redshirt Dampeer. Dampeer is good enough to start now but if we could get another year from him would be great. We have many of OL that can play mop up duty at center. Why waste a year. If Dismukes get a little bang up Kozan could fill his spot even if it were a game.Diamond is ready a OG. Dampeer could be the man for 2 years and make a name for himself.

FWIW, an Alabama coach visited Jovon Robinson immediately after he committed to Auburn.

So much for the "we didn't want him anyways, he didn't have a committable offer, or someone was higher on our board" comments...

Personally I agree with you on everything except Diamond. I was just relaying the info both Bryan and JGT were told and posted coming out of Spring on Dampeer.

On Diamond, he was hurt again recently. This time it was knee surgery that had him out of contact drills for all of the Spring Practice. In 2012, he injured his shoulder missing lengthy time. If he continues to miss time then IDK when he'll be ready.
