He told Keith he would have an answer tomorrow. Only he didn't specify what question he was answering. Best guess is he announces the transfer to Auburn.

Isn't Leonard Williams the DL we thought we were going to get on signing day a couple of years back that ended up at So Cal? Just saw a mock draft that had him #2 overall next year.

If he does transfer how many spots on the Oline would that leave for this class? I know we want a Center, would we be done at guard and still sign 1 OT?

He started most of his true freshman season, IIRC.

Wouldn't put too much stock into Mock Drafts this early. I've seen one that had Cass the #2 or #3 best MLB and Frost the 4th best OLB in the class.

I truly believe Cass McKinzy is one of the best linebackers in the nation. You could tell he had the required athleticism back during his recruiting highlights, and his first game ever starting as a true freshman revealed the talents he has. He took the field against Vanderbilt in 2012 and had 12 tackles and a forced fumble.

Yep. It is amazing looking at the last two drafts how much NFL talent Chizik missed on. Guys like Leonard, Marcus Roberson (ufa), Amhad Dixon, Seastrunk, TJ Jones, Stephon Truitt. Granted had they come to AU under Chizik they would not have been developed or drafted. But it was close

He was not in the class and we ended up with Jermaine
Whitehead instead. eta Jermaine did seem better last season when he got real coaching instead of getting Thigpenned

Williams told his entire family he was going to AU in the fall then he OVd USC and fell in love. Knew a few people from his town and they all were saying he was a lock until that OV and everything change

maybe true, but Thigpen still sucks. Notice that Tennessee has not gotten any better under his coaching.
