FWIW another story posted on AUF by someone living in Mobile was

No solid evidence but being from mobile and having tons of friends that went to McGill this has been popping up on my facebook and someone said that they talked to JS's uncle and that Jason was in the passenger seat and the weed was found on the driver and the driver was the one the that was obviously driving from the cops so hopefully all of his charges will be dropped and he will be cleared of all wrong doing. If this is the case I hope we dont drop him from the class and instead just keep him under a close eye once he gets on campus like we are doing with KB.

Isn't Swinney a speed guy? If so, I would guess he's higher on the board than Love

I would assume so too. I would be happy with either. Love looks very well put together for his size, and has some good lateral movement.

How is the second story any better? They are essentially the same circumstance. E, you know that I like you and consider you a friend. I appreciate the time you take to gather information as it keeps me up to date on days when I don't have time to check out every possible source of information. I don't claim to be an insider but I do know a couple people who probably are as close as you can be. (what exactly is the definition of an insider? ) One of them is the gentleman you are referring to here. He is not the only person I know that gets information on AU Football. Your incessant need to correct/follow/edit the information that I and others share has been excused until now as naivete. Both in order to maintain peace on the board and also because I hoped that you would just stop.I don't want to turn this into a saga. There is no need to respond to this. It is okay if you don't know everything first. I mean that.

I don't know which one I want more. Both of them are game changers in the right defense. With Gus, I don't worry about the Offense. I have confidence that he will produce points no matter what. If we get the defense right, we are going to be special.

As for your original question the 2 stories look quite a bit fundamentally different to me although I could be completely wrong here. In the story you posted he voluntarily fled. In the story from AUF I got the impression he was already in the car as a passenger when stuff went down. In that scenario being a passenger in a moving vehicle he does not have a choice. It's all on the driver.

I pretty much already consider Thompson a UGA commit. I know someone will come in and tell me about how we have a chance but I'm not buying it.
