He's a fighter.. I hope, for his sake, he can complete the season out.

Tahj is going to give it another go but we are still going to bring in a gt pg if possible.

So does that mean we have 2 open roster spots for this class if my math adds up?

Any rumors as to who we are looking at for grad transfers? With so many big schools looking to the GT market, it has me worried

Andrew's better work some miracles because this sounds like a permanent disability waiting to happen

it's incredible he can still play. I fully expect it to get hurt again.. He has to have a little crazy in him to want to get back out there and risk yet another surgery

It's still early but here is another name to add to the list. Played for Todd Golden while he was an assistant at Columbia.

I forgot Golden coached at Columbia. Some NCAA tournament teams are looking at him though. Will be a tough pull

Also I was wrong about us only looking at immediately eligible transfers. There are a few we are looking at that would have to sit out a year.

Anyone in particular?

Seems like grad transfer market is way more competitive and there is less talent to compete for.

DeSean Murray from Presbyterian is visiting Apr 29-May 1. There is another one that we are trying to set up a visit for but I can't remember his name.

Kid seems like a stud from what I'm gathering. I'd be stoked to have him

I still want us to bring in Daniel Giddens from Ohio State. He was an awesome defender for OSU as a true FR

Definitely don't want a guy averaging 20 ppg and 7 boards and 77% at the line.

If pearl wants him then I want him but I'd be lying if I said landing a 6'5 pf that didnt hit a single 3 last season gave me the warm and fuzzies. He is a tremendous athlete and finished around the rim well but still.

JLee said that PG Grant Mullins is not happening :sadnana:

I have a bad feeling we strike out on a lot of options. Hopefully Anthony Livingston works out at least. PG is going to be a mess

Why not want a big guard who can finish? Michael Carter Williams fit this mold and was one of the better PGs in recent memory. Would be a permanent mis-match

Murray is a 6,5 225lb power forward not a guard. What MCT seems to imply is his game doesn't stretch past the paint. He doesn't seem to be a shooter and his handling likely isn't up to park on the wing

ETA: The Grant Mullins seems to be on his end from what I gather
