Looks like Bruce Pearl does, too

I wouldn't have any problem playing a lot of small ball shooting lineups like

1- PG
2- Brown/Dunans
3- Heron/McSwag
4- Lang/McSwag
5- Purifoy

A full court press with those athletes and their ability on offense to move would cause huge fits for opposing teams

List of transfers for '16

Also, Stallings is out at Vandy. I'm assuming that makes Alex Reese a Bama/Auburn battle

Players that would be awesome to have (but prob won't happen) from that list

SG Avery Woodsen - Memphis 43% 3PT
SF/PF Savon Goodman - AZ St ~10ppg 7rpg
PF Darion Clark - USCw - Rebounding wizard
SG Canyon Berry - CoC - 90% FT shooter
SG Ketin Reinhardt - USCw - 6'6 and a legit scorer

Players that are likely possiblities
PG Christian Kessee - Coppin St - 14PPG 39% 3PT
SF/stretch4 Kale Abrahamson - Drake - 12PPG Tyler Harris type
PG Spike Albrecht - Michigan - Talented but genetic hip issues
SF/Stretch4 - Austin Arians - Solid scorer but not a post guy

Interesting options

PG Sam Cassell JR - UConn bench player potential talent
C Andre Washingtno - Wake Forrest - 7ft body not much production

Freshman C Daniel Giddens from Ohio St is transferring. He is from Marietta, GA and speculation that we are interested.

He was ESPN's #59 HS basketball player and led Ohio State in blocks despite playing only ~15 minutes off the bench per game

Would make 2017 really really dirty. We could start a top 50 player at every position

PG- Davion Mitchell/Harper
SG- Brown/Heron
SF- Purifoy/Lang
PF- Wiley/Spencer/Reese?
C- TReed/Giddens

Any chance we can lure Jordan Price back to Auburn now that Tony Barbee left?

He avg ~20ppg 5rpg 3apg at LaSalle. I imagine he would be a solid contribution for his last year.

Was so excited about that class and then Barbee being such a terrible human being ran em all off

Definitely would've liked to have him and Shaq this year. Would that tall feller that Barbee ran off, Kouassi?, have been eligible this year? A tall feller like that could've come in handy

He may not play/be that great, but I can't imagine he is worse than Devin Waddell

Auburn signed three HS 7'+ players in 2013 and 6 players total.

None of the 7' players played for Bruce Pearl who arrived a year later

None of the 6 players played >50% of a season for Bruce Pearl

MCT, some questions regarding recruiting

1) Are we interested in any of the following big man GT guys?

PF Anthony Livingston - ArkySt -b2bseason Avg Double Double, Pulled TReed punched cop though
PF Darion Clark USCw - Good rebounder originally from GA
PF Savon Goodman ASU - Big upside but inconsistent
SF/PF Derail Green - Formerly WitchitaSt -

2) Are we interested in standard sit out transfers?

Guys like

PG- Justin Simon
- Arizona - top 50 very athletic solid FR
C- Daniel Gidden -tOSU
- Top 50 very strong/athletic
Caleb & Cody Martin - NCst - Both solid ACC players

Of those Livingston is the only one ive heard of any mutual interest. I'm sure we would take elite tranfers that had to sit out but I don't think any of those qualify.

He was a stud for ArkySt. I'd be stoked

I would think Giddens and Simon do. Giddens was a great defender for a FR at TOTU. Supposedly they aren't happy he is leaving
Simon has pretty elite athleticism and gave good minutes at UoA. He just has 3 five* guys going for the same spot and writing on the wall

I watched every televised NC State basketball game in 2014-15 and they were the most inconsistent wtf are you doing players I've seen.

Didn't watch but one or two of their games this year so didn't notice if they had grown

I read they improved. I don't think they'd be worth the roster stops given they aren't at positions of need nor elite

Sort of like, if they were here I'd rather that than not, but I don't think it's worth bringing them in

Tahj is going to give it another go but we are still going to bring in a gt pg if possible. I love the kid and wish him the best but I just can't see him making it through a season.
