Not sure how accurate, E can probably explain better but someone on twitter said New Williams would be a composite 4* but he was injured so Rivals left him out of their 150 which goes into account for composite rankings.

Rivals said he was so talented and promising pre injury that they didn't want to take away his 4th star but due to injury and missing camps left him out of the 150 till he shows he is back up yo speed

Refreshing to hear

The highlights I've seen of Williams remind me a lot of a CD3 with a jump shot. Did I mention he also has a 48 inch vertical?

Where did you find highlights?

Scout but I think they were subscription only.
Here are some quotes from Scouts about all our commits.
Purifoy
The prospect has been having a strong summer on the AAU circuit playing for Atlanta Xpress. A prospect who has skills to play both inside and on the perimeter, he said, “It doesn’t matter where I play. Wherever position my coach puts me at I will play it.”
Spencer
Spencer is a freak athlete that may not be the biggest center at 6-foot-8, but he plays a lot bigger than he is due to his size, length and athleticism. Spencer has ridiculously bwide shoulders and will be able to put on a lot of strength without losing his bounce. He generally plays very hard, rebounds and defends.
Dunans
“He is six-foot-five, but plays bigger than that because of his reach,” the coach said. “Offensively, he can play the one (point guard) or two (shooting guard) and defensively he play the one, two, three (small forward) or four (power forward). He is a good bit for Coach Bruce Pearl’s style of play.
Reed
Reed is tall and long, and he's reasonably athletic as well. He elevates for numerous blocked shots and should become a good rebounder over time. His ability to affect games defensively offsets the fact that he can be quiet statistically. He also runs the court well and, unlike most seven-footers, isn't a liability in an uptempo game. He also buries jumpers to 17 feet.
Williams
While Williams is raw and hasn't had the reps of many other guys in his class, his potential is through the roof. He's an NBA athlete that will be able to knock down shots and defend multiple positions; he just needs reps and more coaching.

That's his real first name?
New suddenly seems like not such a bad first name
