I haven't been keeping up with recruiting. How would you grade our class this far and who are some of the top targets and where do we stand with them?

Also, recruits have to be paying attention to the direction of the program. If we finish with 9 or 10 regular season wins that would have to have a huge impact.

Already did. I just think Gus could've handled it better if all the reports are true.

Why is it worth the risk? The trend since Saban has been at Bama is at least one guy every year troll AU throughout the whole recruiting process. I would rather lose a few extra and let it be known to recruits that we don't play that game than have the alternative happen. Plus Casher is just a solid prospect, not some huge need like Tre. We can do without him.

I don't think there will be any fallout with this if what's being said is true in that they talked to Tre/Roc about it.

I am not worried about Tre, he seems locked in regardless of anything happening. Probably knows the MLB spot is his to lose right now.

After seeing Bone tweet to Roc though I am a little worried. Probably just past recruiting cycle scarring but if Bama misses on LF I could see them putting on a January press to get him.

What's the risk? Have him be a silent commit and recruit like he's not committed. If he flips, oh well no harm done it's what we expected. If he doesn't flip, then we get a solid Center prospect.

I wouldn't start to worry until Bone post a pic of his son with Roc on social media like he did Liner.

I see what you're saying, but like past recruiting dramas, we will never know the complete story.

We do know the guy is all over the place, so we got to trust the coaches. I hate saying that, but.

I just don't think Gus and his staff would send a kid packing if they weren't confident in their opinion on the matter. And it is not like last year where you had a terrible season and imminent coaching change. The program is heading in the right direction, signing day is 3 months away. If someone wants to play games this late in the process they can GTFO, especially since he already decommitted for no reason during the summer.

I still believe going into the season Liner and Foster were ours. Wasn't until we took a giant Chizik on our season thatI think we lost him

Also, BobbyLowder sighting today. Glad to see he can still afford food for the time being

It is pretty good with some of the big positions of need being hit but pretty bad with other positions of need aren't being covered.

We have one of the best middle linebackers committed and one of the best running backs in the country committed too. We have, who might end up being what Trovon reed was supposed to be, in Truit. This kid is blowing up in every single game he plays.

We have a quarterback committed that is very solid player and good leader and a pair of very good DBS.

We are whiffing on high school defensive tackles and our other offensive lineman. I think they are also trying to dig up one more defensive end to go with a couple good ones.

Overall, the class is a top 15 class and might not get much higher, possibly tenish. This class is more about shoring up glaring needs than it is adding frivolous high star players to pad class rankings.
