Right. And he proved his offense can be legendary with a good dual-threat.

bullshite, I was high on White before then. But continue with your aside. The fact is, he didn't - and is the better prospect - further proving the point.

I wasn't talking about you specifically, just everyone on here, including me. And him being a better prospect is not a fact. Going by Harris' offer list, most top coaches think he's the better prospect. And going by rankings, every analyst think Harris is the better prospect

This is why Harris is #1 on Malzahn's list.

Don't forget the common denomonator. All 3 QBs, the 2 at Tulsa and Cam, were very accurate passers.

We all ready have DT QBs on the roster. We need a QB who is accurate and then decide which one is making the plays. Gus proved at Tulsa his offense can be great with a pro-style QB.

This x fricking 1000.. Just give me a QB that has good pocket presence and can get the receivers the ball. If the QB isn't a physical god like Cam Newton, he should be the smartest guy on the field.

No Cam became great, but only considered good before 2010.

And Frazier had just as impressive rankings and offer list.

The list of lowly ranked players becoming nothing is infinitely longer than the list highly rated guys.

I'm not seeing where everybody is saying he sucks. That just isn't true.

No one actually said sucks. But they were calling him a project aka he sucks. Comparing a QB to Kodi Burns isn't a compliment unless you're recruiting him to play WR.

I would rather have White given our history with QBs but I would be happy with Harris too.

Sure it is, but Harris isn't accurate. Speaking in terms of QB play, I won't concede Harris is the better prospect. I'm sure the coaches are higher on Harris for a reason - maybe they know they have what they need in JJ and need Harris for other recruits. If Harris is our QB we take, he won't start at AU. Neither was Cam before he got here. We should have taken an accurate JUCO QB instead right?

No need, I still think he's LSU bound

Well, aren't there that many more lowly ranked recruits as there are highly ranked recruits?

Since we've been recruiting quote-unquote dual-threat quarterbacks, Cam is the only one to amount to anything. It's a new day, people.

Stop right there. Harris isn't in any way, shape, or form Cam Newton. Measurables, speed, arm strength - really no comparison. Now if you want to compare Frazier, Burns, etc. - that makes logical sense. Newton is an anomaly.

I hear what everyone is saying, but I again will concede to the Head Coach we call Malzahn. You don't like Harris, go tweet Gus and let him know. You don't want White let him know...

We weren't talking about any of those things. We were talking about accuracy. My point was Newton got accurate with Gus. Why can't Harris?

I understand. But what about the pro-styles? Trotter sucked, Moseley sucked, Pike (was considered by some as pro-style) sucked.

It's really a crapshoot

I was the one who said that stuff and you are misrepresenting what I meant by all that. The fact is BH is under 50% completion percentage. That does make him a project in terms of accuracy only. As far as everything else goes BH is already there so that does not make him a project as a whole. He also has something KF never had with them being similar in a number of ways. BH has the overwhelming confidence that is needed and that KF never had. Taking my words to interpret them as BH sucks is grossly off.
