Hamilton and Williams will be the two main LB targets IMO.

Evans would be a possibility, since he projects as either a DE or a LB.

I don't know much about the out of state linebackers at this point to know how hard we'll go after them

Moulton from Norcross is going to be every bit as important to our staff.

He is teammates with Lorenzo Carter and we can easily take 3 LBs this year due to overall depth concerns in years past.

Rashaan Evans looks like he is going elsewhere but maybe he plays DE

It's pretty sad that we can't even lock down the good players at Auburn High School.

Anyone else hear about Reuben Foster trying to get into Sky Bar the other night? Supposedly he was told to leave at the door and never come back.

I hadn't heard that. But if true that is awesome, I hope the prick doesn't feel welcome anywhere here.

I heard it from a bouncer there so TIFWIW. It's also worth remembering that a recruit that did what he did being in an Auburn bar surrounded by drunk Auburn students is just asking for some type of incident to take place.

I posted about it a few pages back.

Confirmed by multiple friends who work there.

Actually, might've been in the Signing Day thread. Not sure where I posted it now.

Now that I think about it I had already heard that story. Not sure why I was thinking I hadn't.

Oh well. He'll either be in Tuscaloosa or JuCo come June, I'm sure he can make it a few months spending time with his daughter on Wednesday nights instead of going to SkyBar

Alabama is taking the church approach to recruiting. It's a God thing.

I'm sure we will.

Might have a different name though.

Usually around Memorial Day, so we probably won't hear anything about it till early May if I had to guess.

So what is shaping up to be our best case scenario defensive class this year? I would assume that we are taking at least 2 ends, 2 tackles, 3 linebackers, a couple corners and a couple safeties.

I'd say two LBers and 3 S's.

We'll always recruit heavy on safeties and DL as long as we're running the 4-2-5.

2-3 LBs, 3-4 DL, 4-5 DBs.

Offense: No idea. I'm sure one QB, at least two RBs, and we'll probably go heavier on OL this year and lighter on WRs.

On the offense, I see us ending up taking 1 quarterback, 2 or 3 running backs, 1 fullback/tight end, 1 tackle, 2 guards and a center.

We will take at least 1 OT in this class

that's what I said. I think 1 tackle, 2 guards and a center. 4 offensive linemen total. We will end up in the 22 LOI range I think unless we have a ton of attrition this year.
