Where do y'all feel we are with the QB position? Everyone around us seems to be hitting HRs with their QB recruits. I figured Gus would have us in the running for a couple of top flight guys.

If we can get Brandon Harris or Deshaun Watson, we're right up there with the other SEC teams in terms of QB recruits.

If we can't get either, we're kinda SOL

IMO, and I have nothing to base this on outside of just a wild guess, it's Watson or Harris or nobody.

Another tidbit on Brandon Powell. He ran a 4.45/40 at the Miami camp last week per KN.

Do y'all not have faith in NMarshall and JJohnson for the next 4 years?

Kind of, but we need a big time QB every year until somebody proves they can be a big time SEC QB.

Nick the next 2 year but since we don't have any college proven QBs yet we need to get 1 in each class til one steps up.

Any relation to former Heisman Trophy winner Mike Rozier?
My bad. I always get his name wrong. It's Malik Rosier. Highlights

Kid looks good, and fast and quick, and can cut, all that good stuff, but apparently we're being super selective at receiver. Trey Quinn is in town today. Would he be a take? Are any of them aside from D'haquille? Who before the season, any of them as it stands now?

Free from KN on 4* WR Trey Quinn LINK

Trey Quinn

Top 100 player. Spent all afternoon at Auburn. Was on his way home after visiting Clemson.

Trey was getting ready to do an interview, but his father told media they didn't have any time, Austin reports.

We will try to get some info from our sources and pass it along to you.

What I can tell you is that we believe he wants to be reasonably close to home for college. Could be something that keeps AU in it.
Clemson has felt it has a shot for awhile. And of course, there is LSU. But how many WRs will LSU take?

2012 stats: 111 catches 2094 yards 26 TDs

Until someone actually plays well against SEC competition, we need to continue to bring in quality options

Auburn is recruiting Powell for the OMac role, not WR. IMO Williams, Rudolph, and Quinn would all be takes right now, especially since we have a high chance of losing 2 WRs from the 2013 class.

Yeah, I read that, but didn't I read his position-position would be slot. Motioning into the backfield and sweeps, etc., as a part of that. Expect the same out of Marcus Davis who's recruiting him.

And BTW, what's wrong with Tyler Harris if Brandon Harris chooses elsewhere.

And why is Rafe Peavey crystal balled to ... IOWA? Do these kids even know that THorton is recruiting them?

More on Quinn per KN. Trey spent 5 hours at Auburn. Everything went well from his end, not coming from Auburn sources. He's intrigued by the offense. He liked Gus a lot. WHe wants to come back to Auburn before committing somewhere.

The slot stuff was not in either the Rivals or 247 article as primary emphasis. The primary was on the OMac role as Powell spent all day with Horton. FWIW Hoke says the offer is not commitable at the moment.

Nothing is wrong with Tyler Harris. He would be in that next up group with Malik Rosier. I just know Lashlee likes Rosier.
