Heavy AU lean right now, although he may want to get away from the area for college, so thats weighing against Auburn.

Auburn is still in good shape with Evans and a commitment is expected still near the end of summer. Evans beat the #1 OT Cam Robinson in the 2014 class today in 1-on-1s at Bama's camp.

Wow, did not expect bans to be recruiting Clark to OLB.

He has a very solid athletic frame. He could definitely end up being a 6'3 245 pound LB

Not sure how accurate AP's note on that is. He camped today at Bama at Safety and reports say he did extremely well.

whoa whoa now....guys, let's be honest here....if Clark is set on safety you know damn well Saban will tell him he'll play safety and move him to LB after getting his "shot". He isn't gonna lose out on a kid of this caliber because of the position he prefers.

Clark, recently rated the nation's No. 51 prospect in the nation by Rivals.com, said he worked exclusively at safety. He did a lot of 7-on-7 work and also some one-on-one drills against other top prospects.

"I got some good feedback from Coach (Nick) Saban and Coach (Greg) Brown about the day," Clark said. "They said I did pretty good and I learned the plays well, that I picked up the defense quickly and they liked me for that position."

And there we have it....

They'll tell Clark whatever he wants to hear to get him to sign next February, then switch him to LB after he is there.

Yep. That's one thing I like about this board. The glasses are not as O & B as other Auburn boards.

Actually, Lashlee really likes Smith at QB. Sees a lot of Pat White in him. Smith will get a legit shot, but he also knows that WR could be his long term future.

Just give it time on Clark. From what I remember, he was a big AU lean until we completely shite the bed and cleaned house last year. If this team shows up and plays solid defense, we have a legit chance with him.

I watched his highlights and thought to myself "he needs to be stronger at the point of attack". At the end of the video his Coach said one thing he needs to work on is "point of attack"

I guess my scouting of players isn't too bad

So can we just put DC as the "lead recruiter" for everybody now?

This isn't Auburn related but there is Vol nation esque shite y'all need to be aware of on the recruiting board. They're talking about QB Deshone Kizer

quote:

“Tennessee has really stepped the game up,” he said. “They’re putting together what some people think is No. 1 class in the nation, and all they’re missing is a quarterback. I think they’ll win an SEC championship and national championship in the next few years, and I’d love to get down there.”
