I'm just putting this is here so I don't have to start a new thread, but I'm glad to see my thread on the SEC Rant is going exactly as planned regarding Dameyune calling AJ the best QB in the SEC. I just figured the bullpups would be a little more engaged.

The recruiting thread (and practice threads when they go up) is essentially the "General AU discussion" thread when some topic is not a big enough deal to start a new thread

1/2 recruiting

1/8th random chatter

3/8ths general Auburn discussion

Parkjas Bamasgot is banned till the first game of the season. He could have used a sig pic like Trey, but he didn't want to be my bitch for so many months.

4 things of note via BMs notes

-Auburn is in good position with Roc but if they do not get him or any of the other 4 or 5 RBs they are looking at then they are content with Pettway and looking to the 2015 class
-Ronnie Clark missed BCW due to a family obligation
- Monty is adjusting to college courses and high intensity workouts well given he is a kid from a small school.
-As Gene's Chin and I have said Jason Smith and E-Rob have the most work left to do to qualify.

I know nothing about ERob but I heard bad things about JSmith back in February that he would be a long road to getting qualified and had work to do. Haven't heard anything since

AU moved up to 4th in the 247Composite SEC team rankings behind UT, A&M, and LSU.

If those 2 guys don't qualify and we get an injury we will be seriously thin at WR.

Reed
Bray
Louis
Coates
Denson

Would be our only scholarship WR's

Walker and Stevens both need to redshirt i think 1 of them is 170lbs.

I know. I was referring to you for Smith and me for E-Rob. Too lazy to type separate sentences.

Close Stevens is 6-3 | 175. Marcus Davis was also signed to play slot.

although Melvin Ray's not technically a scholarship player, he could contribute. I also think we'll use Uzomah and/or Parks in the slot a good bit this season.

At this point I'm more worried about the guy throwing the ball, not the guys catching the ball

they're both legit concerns, but I think Craig will have his guys playing good ball. Having one group step up (QBs or WRs) would greatly help the other out.

unless you're Kiehl Frazier

I do think improved WR play would help JW out quite a bit

Not with the shot putting style throwing I saw him do in the A-Day game.

Forgot about Ray, but let's be honest Uzomah and Fulse in the slot won't exactly be game changers. Good wr's can make plays and change games i.e Amari Cooper, DeAndre Hopkins, Sammy Watkins ect... We haven't had a game changer is years.

But like you all said, it doesn't matter if we don't have a qb
