Hell, I'd be willing to say our staff is going after Bo Scarborough more than they have been going after Choice.
I would have to agree.

It is an early observation for this staff, but it seems that they prefer big running backs.

I'm sure that I'm one of the few, but I've never been that impressed with Choice myself, so I like this news. I just think there are better RB's out there for us.

From Auburn Undercover(obviously)

AuburnUndercover has added an industry-leading recruiting analyst to its staff. Keith Niebuhr has joined the AuburnUndercover family as Senior Auburn Recruiting Analyst and will provide daily, in-depth coverage of Auburn's recruiting.

Niebuhr, who joined 247Sports as a National Recruiting Analyst in June of 2012 after having spent the previous two years at Rivals.com, has established himself as one of the nation's most successful and productive writers in the industry.

From 2000-2010, Niebuhr covered a variety of sports -- and recruiting -- for the St. Petersburg Times (now Tampa Bay Times), Florida's largest newspaper.

Before that, he had stints at FoxSports.com in New York and both the Gainesville Sun and Ocala Star-Banner in Florida. A graduate of the University of Florida, Keith got his start in journalism covering Steve Spurrier's Gators from 1992-94.

In 2001, Keith's story on the state of Florida's exclusion of achievements from all-black pre-integration schools in the record books was named one of the state's best.

Born in Miami, Keith was raised in the Sunshine State. He attended his first college football game in 1978 (Army vs. Florida), and his first game at Jordan–Hare Stadium 13 years later.

In addition to his role at AuburnUndercover, Niebuhr will retain his role with 247Sports as National Recruiting Analyst. He will be responsible for covering the states of Alabama, Mississippi and Georgia.

Niebuhr will cover all national recruiting events like The Opening, the Under Armour All-America Game, the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl and all Nike Camps and other combines.

Follow Keith on Twitter @Niebuhr247

Veteran writer Bryan Matthews will move into the role of Senior Writer with a primary focus on team coverage. Follow Bryan on Twitter @BMatt247

The legendary Phillip Marshall will take on the reduced role of Senior Columnist, where he will give his opinions and insights into Auburn Athletics. Follow Phillip on Twitter @PMARSHONAU

Also joining the AuburnUndercover staff will be newcomer Austin Penny. He will serve in the dual roles of Beat Writer and Recruiting Analyst. Follow Austin on Twitter @awpenny247

“There aren’t many people that combine Keith’s work ethic and knowledge of recruiting,” AuburnUndercover publisher Ron Sanders said.

“AuburnUndercover has grown to be one of largest sites in the 247Sports network. I am happy we are able to expand our team and bring on one of the best to lead our recruiting efforts. He is a star in this business and is a perfect fit. His attention to detail, tenacity in chasing the news and professionalism will continue the level of excellence established by Phillip Marshall when the site was founded. AuburnUndercover already is one of the best team sites in the business. The combination of Keith Niebuhr, Bryan Matthews, Austin Penny and the continued contributions of Phillip Marshall combined with the resources and ingenuity of 247Sports give us an opportunity to make the site even better.”

Hmm. I'm assuming PM wanted a smaller position role since hes coming close to retirement. I guess either the pay is good or Keith likes Auburn. I also think this means the site is getting so big that more coverage is needed?

Oh wow. Seems like a sign that we will see PM retire in the couple years.

This is a pretty big recruit for us. At least a high 4 star analyst. Nice pull AUC

Supposedly he wants to play OLB/DE hybrid, and we're recruiting him strictly as a OLB.

Not sure why Gerry Hamilton tweeted and posted that. Gallard has had an Auburn offer for 2 months now.

Oh, I thought he just meant we offered the a Gaillard's teammate

Hopefully it helps. Gaillard hasn't shown much interest in us

I subscribed to AUC for a while, but it is not worth the money. Adding this guy will not change my mind on that. Now when the site is sold and Ron S. is no longer involved, then I will consider it.

What will losing Ron do to make it better? AUC is is the best option, and 247 overall is by far the most superior service
