I try to hold my excitement for recruits now as a practice, but I would love to have Roc in an Auburn uniform.

5-star running back Roc Thomas from Oxford (Ala.) High visited Auburn Sunday and plans to be back Saturday for Big Cat Weekend. Auburn assistant coaches Rodney Garner and Tim Horton attended Thomas' spring game Saturday night.
Roc doesn't do many interviews and I'm not sue I'll be able to catch up with him about the latest visit but I think it's another very good sign for the Auburn staff, who has targeted Thomas as one of their top overall prospects.

He reminds me so much of Carnell Williams, while Kamryn Pettway reminds me so much of Ronnie Brown.

Coincidence?

Yes but I agree with your comparisons.

And 2+4 (Caddy) = 6 (Roc Thomas)

All we need now is a Campbell and a defense...

I don't know what lies ahead for this kid (BHarris), how good he can be, his ceiling or floor and all that speculative shite, but looking at last year's class I don't see him beating out JJ if he chooses AU and I don't see him beating out AJennings if he chooses LSU. That's is, of course, if there's a level playing field for everybody, nobody gets hurt, etc.

Meh, I'm not taking the fools gold this year. I'll believe it and be happy when his fax has been received.

I don't think his will be too hectic. He has played it close to the chest and hasn't been asking for too much publicity. It isn't a circus around him.

Also, he hasn't committed to Auburn yet after all our pushing and lack of Bama interest which makes me think that if he were to commit, it is pretty solid indication he gives up on bama.

That said, I prepared myself for th inevitable LOI to Alabama

I don't see Roc ending up in O&B. Bama will offer him eventually just because they can afford it to keep him from playing here.

Right now, with how dominant they are and how much talent they have on the roster compared to us, I do not believe that keeping Roc from AU is much of a priority.

Even if you call us a sleeping giant, we are sleeping right now and UA has more pressing competition like A&M, LSU, UGA, UF and USCe

They are consistently short on scholarships (good problem to have) and they aren't going to use it to keep a player away from a team that hasn't scored an offensive TD on them in 3/5 of our matchups lately.

I do see them potentially offering him because he is talented enough and because they probably strikeout on LF

Different topic,

Is DCraig not allowed to recruit at Faith Academy in Mobile?

Seems like people are suggesting it has to do with Chris Casher's recruitmernt and pushing him to Davidson to get him qualified?

Which I would be okay with because it would suggest DCraig can get the unqualifiable qualified (not a word but flows well)

I do not know for sure. I have seen Rivals and AUC reporters stay away from that question though.

In the end it really does not matter. If Auburn wants Malik Rosier they will get him. Lashlee gone down to see him at least once. I think Padawan Lashlee will be a good recruiter.

When Lashlee is described to me from people who see him around recruits, he is supposed to be pretty cool. He is well liked, gives recruits"bro handshake hugs" and jokes around. Pretty funny because the coaches are trying to be cool with the recruits but the recruits become super "yes sir" "no sir" and intimidated by the coaches (all the coaches not just Lashlee). The parties go in different directions. They made it sound like Lashlee connects pretty well with these kids considering he is a no soul ginger. Really energetic too. Also, I have seen him going to Zoes Kitchen in the Burn with DCraig so he is learning the swag from the best.

Thinking of that changing my avatar to my Lashlee avatar. I loved that one

Also, Malik Rozier may not be a huge deal right now but they have Tyler Bell who is prretty darn good and should be rated highly.

Also, I need to talk to my friend whose dad coaches at Madison Academy to hear about thier stud SO RB we are going after. His dad and whole family are huge AU fans, season ticket holders and I want to say donors. So there won't be too much Bama push from Madison Academy coaches
