Meh. Tough play to make. Kinda got blocked in the back at the same time. He's been playing pretty good.

Brandon Harris decision making has been less than stellar. Disappointing almost

Always been a fan of ULSU. They play in the same conference as University of Maryland University College, I believe.

nope... it's what's made his offense unstoppable.

Just look at the two early season games against Miss State in 2010 and 2013... both games were before Gus started really using designed QB runs/reads as a major part of his offenses.... and both games were nailbiters to relative mediocre teams.

in order for his offense to be dominant, he needs that QB running threat.

Gus probably laughs at that notion that he NEEDS a dual threat guy.

we know for a fact that a running QB makes Gus's offense elite... i'm not saying he can't do it without it, but it's a relative unkown... at least in the SEC.

but we're probably going to find out in 2015... neither JJ or White pocess running abilities of Cam or Nick.

White looks more than capable extending plays. With a QB as accurate as White, the read-option isn't necessary to be unstoppable.

Until he can put up numbers like this with a pocket passer, I won't believe it. (EDIT: I know what his true passing QBs did at Tulsa, but Tulsa isn't the SEC).

We don't beat UGA or Bama without a dual-threat QB. Probably not A&M either.

Threw for ridiculous numbers at Tulsa. That was the only time he's had a capable pocket passer that wasn't a running threat

Of course you won't. Because when you see data put up by Chris Todd or previous Malzahn teams that have used a pro style quarterback you'll choose to ignore it because it doesn't fall in line with your beliefs.

Eta: but you have a track record of being a nonbeliever and being incorrect with your assumptions so I'll stand with what Malzahn has proven while you guess.

So now we're saying Gus' offense can't be elite with a pocket passer because it wasn't elite the year we had Chris Todd at QB?

LOL ok.
