Anyone got insight on the Smith kid? This seems outa the blue. Reminds me of the Diamond commitment.

Roberts, Bessent and Ruffin will be a nice Trio in the DB for us. Add to that some head knockin' Safeties and the LB/DL rotation developing and we are getting there boys!

He was serviceable throughout his career but yeah I wouldn't call him special. He was solid at nickelback in 2010 but when he made the move to the outside for 2011 and 2012 he was picked on.
