Meh, that isn't a strong argument in today's recruiting. It doesn't mean much really. Why not say if he really wanted to go to Bama why not commit already?

-BigtimeAub: Quote me if you want, ban me forever and ever if I'm wrong, but I'm here to tell you that Alan is playing the roll of troll of all trolls and anyone buying that crap is doing nothing but feeding the troll. Alan is eating up the attention and wants nothing more than to stir the pot. You could say that Alan is living vicariously through Rashaan right now and he wants the eyes of the world on Rashaan's announcement. Anything he does and says between now and RE's announcement is just to keep the drama and attention up. If Alan could go live on ESPN for every waking moment between now and RE's ceremony, non-stop, like a 24/7 reality show of Alan Evans, he would do it. I have it on good authority that RE is all AU, has been, and Alan is all show. This is like Alan's second chance to prove himself to the world and is doing so through Rashaan, and he is eating it up. But, for all of the overly emotional sissy types out there that have to freak out at the drop of a hat, please, continue to panic and "just die" every time Alan yanks your short hairs (knowing that he's going to get the reaction out of you that you're giving him). Carry on. For the rest of us, Rashaan is coming to Auburn. His mind is made up and has been for quite a while, despite what Keith, Bryan, Penny, or writers from any other site might type up and post on the interwebz. Take a deep breath and smile. We got this.

God, I hope the shite above about AE isn't true. Because if it is, that is some seriously sad and pathetic shite.

It seems this similar scenario that happens between Bama and AU...Bama has won this battle more times than not.

I just don't get a good vibe from the kid, he has said several times or hinted at getting out of Auburn.

Him committing to bama while he attends Auburn HS would be the same as him committing to AU? You're wrong.

My point being that there is a lot to gain for him by committing to Auburn because it would relieve any of the negativity. If he's going to bama he might as well just wait and do it on NSD. Or maybe the kid just loves the attention that much. Either way, these situations never work out for us.

Pretty sure his recruitment is a bigger cluster that Reuben and his tattoo. It's kinda funny to me though because I'm not as emotionally invested as I have been in the past

I guess I just don't worry about it like that. He comes to Auburn then great and if he doesn't then well he doesn't. Not a damn thing I can do about it.
Usually they haven't gone well for us is correct, but it didn't stop us from reaching the NC just the same.

Exactly. If the kid wanted to come to Auburn, he would have already committed and taken all this pressure off of himself.
Incorrect. Releasing the pressure is not a valid excuse in his mom's decision process for Rashaan to make a commitment. She's running the actual show on this while Alan is soaking everything all up. Alan is playing the role of prima donna here not Rashaan.

Carl Lawson's dad was similar last year, although nowhere near to this extent.

I thought the Lawsons did a very good job with Carl's recruitment.
Looking from the outside in the Evans' recruitment went from very well done to a cluster frick.
The fact that Gus hasn't cut Evans loose should tell us how he feels about the situation.

I thought the same thing when LCT mentioned Lawson. I don't remember anything bad about Carl's recruitment and I met and talked to his god-parents at the WSU this year and they were really good people.

BS...Rashaan is in just as deep as his father. Rashaan could tell everyone where he is going right now, but he is playing this prima donna shite up too.

frick this dude. Come to Alabama and I will cheer for you on Saturday, but frick you the rest of the time.
