Didn't Smith visit A&M this weekend? Any word on how that went? We still feeling good about him?
I checked TAMU 247 site and it was like he was not even there. Not a mention of him all weekend. They had a junior day last weekend and all the focus was on that.

Smith is looking good for AU. Work left to do, but we made a lot of ground.

School me on Treon Harris.

What are our chances of a flip? He is too small to play QB so what would we do with the #3 dual threat QB?

A QB playing in the Super Bowl is the same height as he is. Has more mass on him than Bridgewater. Seriously, all of you shut the frick up about height.

1. Where did I mention his height?

2. frick you.

I am talking about his weight wiseass. 180 is too small to to run Gus' offense. Nick is 210 adn your SB QB is 206.

Size = measuring height and weight.

He isn't too small to platy QB. Whether or not he actually ends up playing QB, it won't be because of size. It will likely be due to lack of accuracy. Thank you.

I'm pretty sure Fla, FSU and Miami are offering him, or at least saying they are, more of a chance to play QB than we are. We've made it clear that Sean White is our QB this round and while Harris would get "a shot" there, he'll most likely end up somewhere else.

A number of people see him as Nick Marshall 2.0 so yeah he could play QB were he to win the job. With that said the staff is recruiting him like they did Jason Smith. An ATH they will give a shot at QB. They expect he would be a WR though. As for the chances of a flip AUC says the staff feel they are squarely in the race for him.

dude's a better fit than Sean White... and would be absolutely deadly in malzahn's scheme.

Can't decipher that yet. He will have to have a great OL to block on run plays like Nick did. We really don't know how well he throws the ball. If the run game and run blocking ain't great then Sean should be accurate enough to do well passing the ball. We don't know that yet about Treon.

A better fit for what exactly? Its clear that CGM molds the offense/scheme around the QB. Just because the read option worked well for Marshall doesn't mean that a dual threat Harris has the same ability to run it. CGM will build his own unique offense around Sean White.

Thank you!

I swear some people think this is the first time Malzahn has ever ran an offense. To those people I have two words: Chris Todd.

That is all.

it's not even close to "all"... GM has had two offenses capable of winning an SEC and National championship... both of those were run by QBs with amazing running ability.

i'm not saying he can't do it w/o someone like NM or Cam, but it remains to be seen.... our offense with Chris Todd was good enough for 3-5 in SEC play.
