If all of the reports about Foster stopping by Auburns AD after each visit are true then I can't see him going anywhere but Auburn.

In all seriousness, Gus has done a ridiculous job with this recruiting class

The fact that we're even sniffing top 10 when they've only had a month to recruit is mindblowing

I can't want to see what the classes look like when we set Garner, Craig, and Harbison loose for a full 12 months

Some of the guys recruited by the previous staff need to be processed.

It is sad and pathetic that we had that many holes we needed to fill with JUCO kids. Frick Chizik

Jawja's influx of DawgRant posters put them ahead of us for a while

The only one I can think of is Holland and he's a senior, so he'll be gone after this year. Most of them have yet to really show what they can do, imo. And this last coaching staff didn't exactly do a great job of getting all they could out of the players.

Outside of Holland, Garrett is the only upperclassmen, so it's really a bunch of underclassmen that haven't been coached very well. We'll see what happens this year with a new coaching staff. After seeing the type of change in teams like Vandy and Ole Miss with new coaching staffs, I'm convinced you can turn a team around in a year(not SEC or NC turn around), but at least be competitive in the league. And Ellis Johnson did wonders for that S Car defense in the few years he was there.

Ford twitted this morning that he's down to UT, AU, FSU, UGA.

Fawk.

Here's what Chilld has been saying on Twitter:

quote:

Im trying to hear some more. He went to my high school. Small town. Everyone talks. He grew up an Auburn fan. I think he wants to stay in state. Would've committed to us if we went after him 4 RB. Some think he recommits back to Vandy as of now. He still has UGA coming in later in the week. Im gonna try to catch his coach that I graduated with. From what I have heard, I'd say Auburn 60% and Vandy 40%. Havent heard much about the VOLS. He'll get support from UA and AU here.

(TTs comment of needing a RB)

Yeah, I heard that's what Gus was telling him today. I'll keep checking around. Small town so everyone talks haha

We need to take as many AL and GA kids as we can. Those two states are our core recruting grounds.

I wish they wouldn't have made us start a new one back in the summer. This thread plus the old one would be close to 900 or so pages.

Bama's would be the longest if we added up all of the threads together.

I agree... Honestly, one of the biggest reasons I was excited about BVG was because of his recruiting impact in Georgia. We've GOT to take that OOS presence we used to have back from Bama if we want to be successful. Get someone to set up camp in Atlanta.

Garner will be more effective in Georgia than BVG would have been. Van Gorder had been out of the recruiting circuit for a couple years due to the NFL.

i'd say Vandy is a longshot, based on Ford's tweet and the comments from Vandy players yesterday.

Ford to Vandy is not happening. FSU and UT worry me more.
