Golson is visiting bama this weekend. Anybody got any 411 on him visiting us?
That's what I was thinking...might as well while he's in the area right?

Yea I think DC was his lead recruiter as FSU too.

BM says Johnson's knee issue and potential academic problems are the reason.
He also said he thinks Liner will flip, just doesn't know when. Says it could be this weekend or he may wait until NSD

hmm... that's not good. We NEED interior DL, especially underclassmen.

I'm gonna give Liner the benefit of the doubt. He doesn't deserve to be judged based on the actions of past recruits. But him flipping on NSD would be as dirty as it gets.
And the first person to summarize BM's notes in full gets... a thank you

The Liner flip has been pretty obvious to everyone.

Other notes include:
We're turning up the heat on Golson, but he remains committed to FSU. He's visiting Bama and Ole Miss, and we hope to get him on a visit this month.
We're still pursuing Marcus Hardison, JUCO DE, but we now want him as a DT.
We decided not to bring Longino and Singleton, JUCO targets, in for a visit this weekend because the coaches need to make sure their transcripts are in order first. They could still visit later this month
Jonathan Walton is being recruited as an ATH, and will have a shot at h-back and linebacker. We're also interested in Parker Cothren, PSU OL commit, but haven't offered.
Coaches will visit Montravius Adams and Trey Johnson today

I figured Liner was going to flip for a while now. He has a difficult time hiding his desire to sign with Bama. Especially with the coaching change and the success of Bama. I am convinced we will have a solid recruiting class, but far from spectacular as it once looked. Oh well that's recruiting and I wish him and the others who leave the best in their careers.

Not to his many AU/AUfamily twitter followers.

Mine is real talk too. I don't need a teenager to make my life better through signing a LOI. #truth

Can someone breakdown our commits, signees, targets, and positions of need again? I thought I had a handle on it, but with the change of coaching staff and subsequent chaos, I've lost track.
TIA.

I'll post this info in the OP if someone does it.

I don't think anyone really knows....it's pretty much a cluster-f*ck right now with the new coaches scrambling. Most of the uncommitted prospects we would have interest in have already set up OV's to other schools in the next few weeks. We have ONE uncommitted recruit visiting this wknd...not good. I think it's hold on for dear life to what we have now and take the best available as they come mentality for this class.
Next year should be a completely different story though...

Very possible Lawson,Liner,Bower(think he sticks)& Wilkins will not stay with us. That would leave us with only 8 three weeks before NSD.

I agree with the loss of Liner, Lawson, and Wilkins. I will also add that Foster is one I don't think comes back to AU at the end when all is said and done.
