In fairness, Brannigan was completely right about Pike and KF. Doesn't mean I like him, but he isn't an idiot.

fwiw I was on the Brannigan wallace bandwagon back in fall camp. Too many things worried me about KF.

For 1. Malzahn looooved him recruited him since the 8th grade and wouldn't even play him last year over Mosley and Trotter.

2. He should have been named the starter after spring camp, but never was

3. He should have been named started in the fall, yet all we heard about was JW

I'm setting the over/under of how many total recruiting stars we lose from sucking so hard at 9.5

Maybe the coaches will take the "Look how bad we are and need your help." approach.

I'm pretty sure that's the approach they've been taking for the past 3 years.

However, after watching the game yesterday, aside from Lemon, Lutz, Ford, & Blake how many of our players look NFL ready? I think Lutz & Blake's stock has been hurt by being in such a crappy offense for the past two years.

Players want to go to the NFL. Looking at Auburn's on-field results, all the talent in the world will not compensate for lack of development. We have had consistent top ten classes. . . yet we cant tackle or catch balls? We Should Not Be This Bad.

If we don't improve soon our recruiting WILL be affected, especially with rumblings of a coaching change humming in the background. And this is not limited to Chizik being fired. If he saves his jobs it will be at the sacrifice of someone else, maybe Trooper, Luper, or Pelton. Trooper IS our recruiting. If he leaves what happens to our class?

As long as we definitely keep Dee Liner, Carl Lawson, Reuben Foster, Earnest Robinson, Trey Johnson, and all of our core recruits, I'm fine with whatever happens with the coaching staff.

It'll be his downfall, though.

He definitley wasn't plan A because it took so long to hire him. Didn't think he was plan F though.
