Yes... they may as well just not kickoff and place the ball on the 25 to start every drive.

Which may be their ultimate goal, the sorry bastards.

Our worst loss to LSU at Auburn was 20-6 back in 1973.

I was pretty drunk last night but I seem to remember us running a lot of cover 3 (hence why the CB's were so far off the LOS) but I agree about mixing up coverages and going man more.

The few times we came up and pressed and fricked with their timing, I remember us doing pretty good.

I'm sorry but we also hadn't lost in the Ga Dome in our past 6 games there but we did last night?

I think the last time we lost two straight to Clemson was in the 60's or thereabouts

Point is that records should not be used as a litmus test for our success.

Anyone notice Josh Holsey on special teams? He looked really good and surprising big to be listed at 188lbs

I have decided that I let my best hopes override my realistic expectations (again) this year.

The team (especially the defense) had problems. I think they can get better. If they don't, I still think we can win 7 games and go to a bowl (again).

Here's what happens every time I let my hopes get too big. I'm the guy making the swing and my hopes are the hammer. You see the final result.

Found this from last night, I thought he was a LB in kick coverage a few times at first glance.

None of that really explains why he is always on the sideline and attached to Cam at the hip. Daily administrative oversight?

He is the (1) the Associate AD directly above Gene Chizik in the Auburn AD chain of command and (2) a very good friend of Coach Gene Chizik.

what stops us from handing it off to Jay Prosch?

I think it was J Tate in his preseason preview on habotn that said Prosch wasn't going to carry the ball much, if at all. Not his strength I guess.

Have you seen his arms? There is no room for a football to safely reside.

I'm convinced this was the main contributor to Mario Fannin's fumble problems.
