Ryan Smith should not be starting on any SEC team. On one Boyd run he just fell down in front of him

I thought Ryan White was the worst in the secondary personally. The biggest problem to me is still our DT's are getting driven back. Lemonier and Ford were as good as advertised and were forcing Boyd to step up in the pocket. Problem was our DTs were pushed 5 yds down field and so he had plenty of room to run. If Whittaker and Carter are very close to being busts IMO. Neither one has made an impact in a game their whole career.
Offensively I think we are gonna be ok. Kiehl showed flashes of great play and plenty of inconsistency. Blake continues to be the steady force along with Lutz. Mason does a great job finding the whole and running through it but his fumble absolutely killed us. We had a chance to drive down the field and go up 14-3 as they were on their heels and he coughed it up. I do think though if he works on his ball protection we are gonna be fine at tailback. Prosch is a beast. If you watch the replay watch how whenever we got big runs it was because Prosch hit someone. Finally the OL I thought played well for a young group. We need Reece back desperately though. When he comes back that will be a solid group. And down the road one of the best in the nation.
Overall I don't think we should throw in the towel just yet. Miss St will be the judge of that. If Auburn gets out of their own way we win (granted Clemson could say the same thing). What scares me though is that we still can't tackle on D, our DTs are weak, and our corners play so far off. Will be interesting to see the improvement this week. If we make the adjustments we should be ok this year. If we don't, buckle in for a long season

I wanted BlakelY and Coates to get more time. But Mason is a solid back, Kiehl needs to throw to more than just Blake and Lutz

Anyone have recruit info on those who attended? Maybe we will see some today?

I slipped Adams a $100 near the concession stand.

he says it has nothing to do with football... I dont care he sucks either way.. Coach Yox neeeds to step it up.. they still getting pushed around in the trenches...the interior lineman are not strong or big enough.. they look better than last year, but when i flipped to the bama game its was night and day.. he can do it because cadilac ronnie mcneil and auburn linebackers back in the day were beasts just needs to change something around..

odd timing for a tweet like that right after the game.

Damn that was a disappointing one. There were definitely flashes of why i thought this team was going to be real good. Still frustrating to see us give receivers that much room.

cover 2 zone coverage is a joke.. the try to keep the ball in front of them and react to make a play.. hell play man coverage...they never did

I was ranting earlier about us playing so far off the ball. IMO we are stuck with it unless Chiz changes HIS philosophy on it. We will continue to get killed in the short passing game just like the previous 3 years until it changes. The "chiz cushion" defense is a complete failure and we have 3 years worth of evidence to back it up.

I'm just tired of watching that D. The excuses have to stop. Those players out there are Chizik's, they're experienced, and there's no reason why they can't be, at a minimum, average. I'll always support AU, and try to be positive, but my patience with his D scheme is running low.

Cover 2 only works if you have a D-Line like the New York Giants.

He can say it doesn't have to do with the game all he wants.. but he'll be lying. That's definitely about the game and his lack of playing time.

same... d looked just like last year... I know it's early in the season but it just looks exactly the same. they had 500+ yards right?
and no, I haven't heard anything about the recruits there yet, but my friends cousin posted this pic on FB and said both of them told her they were going to AU

I disagree...gave up less points, less yards, and if it weren't for some Whodini shite from Ellington, yardage would have been significantly less.
