Not great odds but we are at home and we played poorly tonight in the middle of the game. Plus we didn’t score with bases loaded no outs in the 1st.

Frick Volantis, whoever that is
Probably the best arm in the SEC

Alex Petrovic ain’t half bad either

He’s very good but we are good as well.
Whichever way whoever wins tomorrow should be ranked 1 and the loser 3 with UCLA sandwiched in between

We left some RBIs out there but they did as well. This team don’t quit, that was a solid slap at the end just right to him. Let’s see how we rebound.

Agreed but Volantis is considered the best starter in the SEC

Debating driving over tomorrow for it. Still got some GA thru Auburn available. This Texas pitcher is best in the sec?

Yet to be determined this season l. He was a freshman all American closer that moved to starter. He’s 3-0 with a 1.53 ERA and .920 WHIP. 40 Ks to 8 BB in 29.1 innings in 5 appearances.
He’s a tall pitcher with the over the top delivery. Low 90s fastball but keeps things low in the zone.
He’s no Skenes or Casey Mize but he is very solid especially if he can improve velocity over this season and next.
A lot will depend on our approach at the plate. We have to work the count but no so much that we are behind in the count. If he throws you something to hit you better be on it. That goes for both of these staffs. Both defenses are good. Texas has played better defense so far in this series. Texas has shown more power at the plate but Auburn appears to play “harder”. Scrappier.
Should be another great game and whoever gets the breaks, makes the pitches and plays, and comes away with timely hits should win.

It’s time. Let’s get this one and clinch the series

Not just for today but we need Steele and Clay to start stepping up and being more consistent. Need Brandon M to get hot for a game or so. He’s gonna have his ups and downs he’s a first year starter so that’s to be expected.
Let’s go boys WDE

This dude is absolutely crushing the ball against us this weekend
Posted on 3/22/26 at 2:08 pm to CorchJay
He got cocky and got himself only a single

Pop out for out one. K for out two. Surrenders a two out single. Long single off the monster. If Robinson had actually run instead of admiring his handiwork that would’ve been a double. Ground out ends the frame.
Petro is locating his breaking pitches well to open.
0-0 B1

Good start. Probably not good to challenge old dude with a fastball. I think I’m staying away and soft to him
