Canty leaves his man a wide open shot so bad that his bigs don't even have a shot to defend it. This isn't Bruce Pearl basketball. Dude cannot start next season.

This would be easier to take if the Hawks weren't in freefall mode. Canty can't be our PG next season. There's no way we can go anywhere but .500 if he is. At least Jeff Teague can finish at the rim and not hurt his team at such a percentage. The offense can't run through him when Purifoy and Heron are in.

We need to desperately work on playing team ball...running plays to get guys open for easier points. I'm wondering now if perhaps the absense of Tony Jones is a factor because he and Pearl have coached together for a good while.

All I know is if a similar thing happens next season with a full lineup, the blame goes to Pearl. Not ready to go there yet, but why the frick is Canty being allowed full reign over the offense? Two assists. Guys got injured and Pearl let him do what he wanted. When we do force a turnover, it turns to shite because nobody is ever made involved, so nobody knows what the hell they're doing. It's all isolation all the time.

Harris played like shite as well he was not eve close on 3s but continued to shoot them. He also keeps trying to take on double teams instead of passing to the open man. I think he and Canty were carrying the torch for Bowers tonight.

Good Bowers dominates this team. They weren't very good inside. Sucks because that was a very winnable game.

I am really having second thoughts about going to the LSU game. This team is done stick a fork in them. There is no team ball at all.

I'm going to keep going and being loud. It does matter and will payoff in the long run. It is tough to watch us right now though.

Anybody, Rig. I know we miss Dunans, but you need a high intensity PG with Pearl who is always swatting at balls and creating turnovers for his bigs. We needed Tahj for that reason, and that's why he was in so much even when everyone knew he wasn't healthy. You rarely ever see Canty trying to create turnovers or directing traffic that isn't meant for iso.

You can't take away a guy that averages 18 points and expect it to just distribute through a team that already has trouble scoring.

Canty doesn't dish and plays Kibe ball because no one else can be trusted to make shots.
Lang and Brown both have bad off games more than good from 3pt, Harris is hit or miss, Spencer can't shoot and Bowers was out.
It is clear Canty feels like a shite 3pt attempt is higher percentage than an open shot by the teammate

I wish we could run plays that could potentially get any of our guys open under the hoop. Shooting 3's is okay ONLY when they're falling. If we only have one guy that can consistently drop 3's (Canty), then I think we're better off looking into a different way of scoring. Bryce is too inconsistent, but TJ Lang seems to be finding a groove.

The reinforcements are on the way. Pearl just needed a couple of seasons to build a team and get his guys in here. We have some great classes coming in and the future looks bright just gotta hold on. Next season will be better and the season after we're gonna be a FORCE.
