Honestly, I kind of do. He may be a lazy piece of shite but we need a backup PG and someone who poses a threat to drive.

To be fair, Moody went ape shite from 3 last night. And their freshman forward played the game of his life.

From what I saw we are in big trouble if a team can just stick a man on Canty and try to trap him off screens, and completely shut our offense down.

It all depends on how Cinmeon Bowers plays. When he hits shots around the rim, defenses can't focus on Canty.
No big guy can stay in front on the perimeter and no smaller guy can post defend Bowers. He gets great opportunities, he just can't fricking make a shot

I really wish Bowers was consistent. Not only could he have had an unbelievable career for AU, his trash talking and energy would be like a jolly Marshall Henderson

Went to the tip off club meeting today. Bruce said Purifoy situation should be resolved soon, so basically nothing new. Praised NCAA for allowing Purifoy to stay in school throughout everything. He wasn't happy with the people at the ACT.
He said we're going to sign one or two more and that he believes Trayvon has his head screwed on straight now. He expects him to contribute next year.
He was asked about incoming players and said that he was really excited about Jared Harper and that the reason that we got him was because we were on him before he really blew up. Was very complimentary of Heron as well. Sounded like he didn't expect much out of Mclemore early.

Seems like we will be basically running 3 guards and a stretch 4 next year. That press better be learned quickly because we will be eaten alive in half court
