Big program win today for Pearl and our team. Always helps to get off on a good foot to start conference play.
Thoroughly enjoyed listening to Clark Kellogg but I didn't like how CBS muffled the crowd noise and atmosphere.
Today much like Hawaii game, Spencer is a big difference maker on defense.
Bryce Brown is finally comfortable and wow what a leap in play between game 1 and today for him. Can't way to see how good he becomes in 2 years.
It's savage season for Kar333333m.
Bless Tyler Harris and Cinmeon's little hearts. The basketball IQ just isn't there all the time
but I'll be damned if they don't give it their all.
But game coming up against South Carolina who I don't believe is nearly as good as they've been made out to be so far.

I was there, crowd noise was barely noticeable except after big plays and somewhat big stretches
As for Brown, he is completely opening the offense up for us. The 1-3-1 which was given us huge fits got wrecked by leaving Brown wide open. He still has a ton of room to improve too
I get not getting calls on road games. It blows but home court advantage is real. Why the frick are we the only team who feels like we are playing on the road while at home though? Unreal

They've been drowning out our fans in just about every home game on TV, seems like. Or maybe they've done it to the Hawks too lately or something, but I've noticed. Have our fans been cursing too close to the mic? The student section would get overly chaotic and hate-filled even when we had no hope.

I feel like we were a better team than USCe was last year. I don't get how they improved so much. I honestly think we may have a chance to beat them with the game being at AA.

They played only 3 teams with winning records and only 2 teams in RPI top 100
Compare that to AU whose played some ~8 winning record teams and ~6 RPI top 100

There's a reason they are undefeated and only ranked #24, but they are still a good team.

He's been trying to find his place, keeps getting more comfortable, and with Dunans out, he knows he has free roam to create offense without being bitched out. Limited guys who can get shots is an understatement right now. Either Canty is banged up or he just doesn't go to the paint enough.
Keim played well today. Didn't turn it over and had guys in position to make plays. Stockton played a lot of the UAB game, yet Pearl has went to Keim since in emergencies. Weird since Stockton has more skills.

Don't forget Coastal Carolina on the road

Stockton can't play point guard so it makes sense. Now if you mean Allison then yes it's interesting

It's funny because I think of Keim as Cole Stockton

Was impressed today. And, we didn't really play well. TO's, and missed FTs, kept us from blowing them out.

Our rebounding was atrocious. People were booing when TN got 3 offensive rebounds in a row

I said before the season started that Brown will be huge for us. Glad he's starting to show that. His shot looks so good. About as fundamentally sound as anyone we've had.

Brown and Lang both have great looking shots they just looked so rough In the opening games.
Still waiting g for Lang to figure it out

Yeah I expected Lang to make more of an impact than he has so far this year. Hopefully he'll figure it out soon.

Early on he clearly was hobbled with his knee injury
Now though he just is so timid on offense. Bruce has yelled at him for not taking shots

Today, he looked a little more aggressive on offense.
