WTF came up with “Truist”?!?

Someone hired some hipster arse marketing/branding firm and no one wanted to own up to the mistake, so they all just became yes men and saw the project through to the ugly end.


I spend a little bit of time working with branding people and they are some of the oddest birds out there.

It’s fricking shameful that two large banks allow that to happen when you had a name like SunTrust. Trust sounds like a fricking diet pill.
