Then why didn't Arthur fire him after last year?
It's obvious that he's lost his fastball. He is a meddler. What top-line coach/coaching candidate wants to put up w/that? I mean he holds meetings w/the coaching staff to discuss the game plan every week for God's sake! Arthur, you're not a football guy.
He needs to sell the team.

When was the last time we fielded a legitimate defense with Dimitroff? God I hope we gut the entire FO, scouts, coaching staff, all of it. Grady Jarret has been the only d-lineman worth a shite we drafted under this regime.

My concern ties into the lack of managerial talent that the Atlanta United have been able to find. I think we were lucky to get Tata but once he left, Frank De Bore was a terrible decision. Maybe Arthur isn't good about hiring coaches.

2002 and 2004 come to mind. Also, the Mike Smith defenses in his early years were quite good in terms of bend-don't-break scoring.
